## What is BoxTrail?

BoxTrail helps a household mover pack under time pressure and still find the coffee grinder on move-day. Build a box-by-box inventory on this device, mark which boxes open first, print tape-on labels with a device-local QR code, and walk into the new place able to retrieve any box by room or by item.

The app is local-first. There is no account, no sign-in, no cloud sync, and no shared inventory. All boxes, items, optional photos, room lanes, and QR labels stay on this device. The QR code on a printed label is a device-local deep link that opens the matching box record only on the device where it was created.

Use BoxTrail to:

- Name a move and lay out destination rooms before you start packing
- Add boxes as you pack them, with optional contents, photos, and notes
- Mark each box Open first, Day 1, Week 1, or Storage so move-day priority is obvious
- Print a tape-on label sheet for the printer, the family, the movers, or first-night unpacking
- Scan a label to open the matching box on this device or search the manifest by item

BoxTrail is for personal moving documentation. It does not provide shipping tracking, insurance valuation, ownership proof, cloud backup, or shared family inventory.
