I enjoyed it just as much as the first one. I did have trouble with a few puzzles because it doesn’t tell you what to do, you just have to figure it out. However most are self explanatory. If it was 99 cents sure, but this game is wayyyyyy overpriced for something that you can beat in a single afternoon. ### 1/5 — Good but hard to follow *2025-09-26, version 2.14.3* I love this kind of game. But some of the things you need to do were just impossible to figure out logically. Like clicking the (spoiler) to put the (spoiler) somewhere else entirely. I spent a LOT of time randomly clicking because I had no idea what to do next or where to use something I picked up. Point and Click accuracy got a bit sloppy near the last chapter and very specific. I didn’t figure out I could pick some things up until I tried a dozen times because i was stuck. I also wish his walking speed could be faster! The games were pretty good except the one with 16 panels that you have to figure out how to press in a certain order with no apparent logic to it. Tl;DR - I wish there were better clues to allow you to figure out what to do next, the point/click should not be so precise, and I really wish there was a (free) hint button! ### 2/5 — Zu kurz *2025-07-30* Viel zu kurze Story…. Really hard at times. *2025-11-08, version 2.14.3* I loved Boxville 1, and this game is just as beautiful and it is fun. However, I think it is a lot harder and needs a hint system. I never would have figured out half of the puzzles without looking up a walkthrough. ### 4/5 — Very good puzzle with excellent graphics but picky about how you select items. *2025-10-18, version 2.14.3* Boxville 2 is generally an excellent puzzle adventure and a good value! However, I found both Boxville games to be very picky about where you place your finger when trying to either select or place certain items. Other than that, my only other criticism is the lack of a hint system. It’s not always obvious what is required to solve some of the puzzles. Fortunately there are good walk-throughs available online if needed.
