I got the Boya Magic Mic and in the beginning it worked fine. Now I connect it to the iPhone, the convertimos works successfully but doesn’t pick up the audio. It looks like it’s working but actually is using the iPhones mic. What for? After the mics turned on and connected to app you can turn the internet off and they are go on working. ### 1/5 — Requires solid internet connection *2026-03-12, version 2.3.3* Functioned as expected until I tried to record and interview in a National Park and could not use the microphones because the app requires an internet connection. I later tested and saw its streaming data to their servers. So recordings are not private.
