At the same time simple features such as change wifi ssid seem incredibly difficult. I tried customer service in the past and was just told to watch out for updates but it just gets worse!? I want a refund for my 2 cameras or the ads removed! I wish you could turn off the password setting especially if you have sunglasses on and want to look at the camera quick but it doesn’t work. This is a security camera and when you get a motion detection and want to see it right away you can’t without an ad first. Very annoying!! It can often take quite some time to be able to gain access to the video as you have to watch all the ads to get into the app. It’s very frustrating and disappointing as the cameras work well, but I want to stop using them now and get something else, due to the app having so many ads! Dangerous if you need to urgently check anything too! ### 2/5 — ADs ruin it *2026-07-06, version 5.1055.90* received this as a christmas present, and I do personally enjoy the cameras but the app is becoming unbearable. too many ads, and the app crashes frequently so it requires me to watch even more ads than usual. and it becomes a problem when i use the camera for a baby monitor with all of them as well. i dont pay for storage, but if you want to go back and look at footage they will also make you pay for that as well. not sure if its mostly all camera apps on your phone making you watch ads and pay, but i had a much more better time having just a monitor and camera to be able to watch a baby sleep on. aside from paying for storage and ads, the camera quality is very nice. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Forces Ad pop-ups *2026-08-08, version 5.1055.90* This app forces users to watch unstoppable video advertisements or deal with pop-up overlays to view the live camera feed. It forces you to upgrade to a subscription to remove these ads. Having to wait and watch these ads make this camera unusable for its purpose - to quickly check on your baby or fur baby. I thought only free stuff was with ads not something you actually pay for. So now you’re stuck with something that has ads all day without getting rid of it.
