I have been using this app for years and find it is very helpful. I give the printouts to the doctor for my file and he loves it. It is great for watching your trends. Wish it had a place for oxygen level, but great app.

### 5/5 — Thank you

*2024-03-05, version 9.0*

### 5/5 — So easy to use

*2024-02-28*

I have been using this app for almost 10 years. A brilliant app for keeping a log of your blood pressure, pulse and weight for you and the family. So quick and convenient to use. Very easy to use. You can also print the results which can be useful to take to Doctors.

### 5/5 — My BP companion

*2024-02-28, version 9.0*

I'm very happy with my "device". I use it regularly and have compared the readings with my Doctors equipment - readings were very similar.

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2024-02-21, version 9.0*

Great app.

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2024-02-17, version 9.0*

Great app, easy to use and comprehensive in storing my data. Easy to print off or email to my cardiologist.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2024-01-27, version 9.0*

My doctor loves this. I can take my BP at home or at other doctors and she can see the history.

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2023-12-17, version 9.0*

My GP loved the print out of my data collected over several weeks. Very impressed. Have continued to use for several years now. It showed how my blood pressure was building and prompted me to see the doctor and since my operation, it has allowed me to continually monitor.

### 5/5 — Very convenient!

*2023-12-03, version 9.0*

This is a great app to keep track of your blood pressure. My doctor likes that I can bring in a report for him to see. Really a great app.

### 4/5 — Tracks well, no chart export. Merge this and the glucose app into one!

*2023-12-01, version 9.0*

Would be MUCH better if this app and the Blood Pressure app combined into one app so additional data analysis could be done! The app tracks my BP well and the data can be exported to Excell. Unfortunately, the nice charts cannot be exported and must be recreated in Excell using the raw data. So why not just enter it in Excell in the first place? I also use an app by the same company to track my blood sugar but the two apps don't merge with each other so, once again, I have to do that in Excell!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — No response

*2025-05-22, version 9.0*

The email address on the home page does not exist. Can’t find anyway to contact them!

### 1/5 — Looked good - big disappointment

*2019-09-19, version 7.1.2*

Easy to use - that’s about it. Can’t save data to pdf on the i-pad. You’re obliged to use Mail for emailing and there’s no facility to change to an alternative program. I couldn’t get the app to find my printer and there’s no option for directing the program to the printer - so couldn’t print data. There’s a “drug” switch that looks like it’s supposed to allow you to record which medication you’re on against BP reading - that doesn’t work. Not a lot of use, really.

### 2/5 — Careful or it will Hold Your Data Hostage

*2022-09-17, version 8.0*

I purchased BP Companion For iPad on 9/3/2017 and was very pleased with it for almost 5 years. Something happened between my iPad and iTunes sync a few months ago and a lot of my apps were accidentally removed. After reinstalling this one, I started getting a daily popup asking me to restore, but it wanted me to sign up for a Family Subscription in order to stop the daily popup from appearing. I emailed support on 8/9/22 and still haven’t gotten a reply. On 9/3/22, the popup appeared whenever I tried to add a new record. It offered me two choices in order to continue adding to my medical data. I could either delete the previous 90 days to make room for another 90 days, or pay $9.99 per year for a Family Subscription. I live alone and have no use for multiple profiles and/or sharing data or charts. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app but am unable to get back to how it worked for those previous 5 years. The only bright side is I have about 90 days to find a replacement app before my Family Subscription Free Trial ends and they begin charging me.
*********
The app began pestering me to submit a review even though I had already written the above info, so I am re-submitting it on 9/17/22 in hopes it will stop asking.

### 2/5 — No support

*2021-04-20, version 7.2*

App is pretty good as far as features and usability, but custom date picker does not work in iPad version, and no response at all from developer after multiple requests. It’s like they don’t exist any more.

### 2/5 — Mr

*2014-05-23, version 3.3*

Can't alter profile stats to metric!

### 3/5 — Does not sync to Apple Health as promised

*2024-04-24, version 9.0*

I have been using this app for quite a while and decided to to purchase the app, thinking it would sync with my Apple Health app as it seems to indicate.
After purchasing yet I found that purchasing it doesn’t really give you any more than free version except you have to subscribe for anything else. I’ve signed up for the three month free trial, hoping that I’d be able to sync to my Apple health, in which case I would become a scriber. As it doesn’t, I won’t.
Tried to contact support twice and have received absolutely no response.

### 3/5 — Overall not terrible

*2023-11-11, version 9.0*

My only complaint is no automatic updating between devices.

### 3/5 — Useful for Keeping Records

*2023-07-24, version 8.1*

Very useful for keeping records and for showing to Dr. = 5*****
However, I purchased the pro version, now it wants a subscription as well! Not happy about that. -*
Also, have always had to manually upload then download stats to phone from iPad. A sync feature would be useful. -*
=3***

### 3/5 — A useful app to track BP for you and your doctor

*2023-04-18, version 8.0*

It is simple, pratical, useful and cheap. An app at is best!

### 3/5 — Using app on two devices

*2023-02-20, version 8.0*

Data does not automatically update from iPhone to iPad. You must save on one device to iCloud and then restore to other device which really makes it useless to have on two devices.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — John Conafray

*2026-07-10, version 9.0*

This app has been very handy. To keep track of my pressure.

### 5/5 — Great app for tracking blood pressure.

*2026-06-24, version 9.0*

I’ve used this app to track my blood pressure and share the results with my cardiologist and doctor when I attend appointments. It’s a easy way to be able to see at a glance how the pressures have been over whatever period of time I want look at. It’s far more accurate to keep track this way then going to the doctors offices where many times you were rushed to drive there, taking your BP while asking you questions, or any white coat syndrome one may have that day. Taking your blood pressure at home is far more accurate for knowing what your average pressures are.

### 5/5 — Jeff

*2026-04-15, version 9.0*

An app that does what it is suppose to, simply and elegantly.

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2026-04-01, version 9.0*

Great app, easy to use and data can be exported to send to my doctors.

### 5/5 — It just works

*2026-02-24, version 9.0*

Very intuitive and easy to use.I like the fact that all my history can be entered without typing. I usually take a print out to my doctor as several days data is far more revealing than the snapshot that he is able to see from just that day.

### 5/5 — The best free BP app

*2025-11-22, version 9.0*

Been using this now for a few years. My doctors love it.

### 5/5 — Exceptional app.

*2025-02-17, version 9.0*

This application effectively collects data and is user-friendly. The only suggestion is to update the values to current BP standards. Otherwise, the program is flawless.

### 5/5 — Nicely Done

*2024-12-07, version 9.0*

Been using for a few years, very valuable info.

### 5/5 — Easy to use.

*2024-09-30, version 9.0*

Great piece of software which takes any strain out of preparing information for the medical profession. So now when our doctors request a series of blood pressure readings it is easy to provide. Our surgery nurse really appreciates all the data being submitted in this way, it make her job easier.

### 5/5 — The best free BP app

*2024-09-19, version 9.0*

Been using this now for a few years.
