### 3/5 — satisfaction

*2022-12-30, version 3.7.5*

I just got it last night, it did not offer an alternative to the answer like "not sure" & I am not dissatisfied. There are a couple of things, one being I would like to set the parameters that my doctor wants. Another is, a pouch to store in, so it's not just lying around. However, I love the bluetooth capability!

### 3/5 — App showing blank page after sync

*2022-06-24, version 3.7.5*

The app was working great until a few days ago. After syncing readings, it goes to a page that is blank other than the Finalize & Save button at the bottom. Support website doesn’t have anyway to contact support. Clicking Help in the app does nothing as well. Leaving this here so hopefully the developer sees it and fixes the issue. I am using an iPhone 13 Pro Max running iOS 15.5.

### 3/5 — Does not sort correctly by time, does not correctly handle CSV export of comments

*2022-05-18, version 3.7.5*

This app does basically what I need it to do, but it does not show my data in chronological order. For example, it jumps around from 7:00 pm to 1:00 am and then to 1:00 pm, for readings within one calendar date. It seems to be sometimes mixing up the time readings were imported to the phone with the date/time of the actual readings on the BP device.

Secondly, the “export” option will create invalid data files if you have commas in your “comments”. I use comments to record, for example, “after brisk walk, 1.25 miles, 93F”. CSV means “comma-separated values.” The CSV file will not be read correctly in other apps (like Excel) because using commas within a field (without proper handling) makes it non-compliant.

It would make sense to prevent commas from being used in comments.

Synchronization works fine for me and my iPhone 13 Pro Max.

I appreciate Walgreens creating a basic app that does not try to show you commercials, push other products, etc.

The hardware is great. It seems to be correctly identifying irregular heart rhythm. This is extremely important for my health.

### 3/5 — Please make graphs expand to show readings over a longer period of time

*2022-03-26, version 3.7.5*

It would be very helpful to see how my blood pressure readings change over time, on a graph. This at-a-glance view could work wonders for understanding one’s biometric health as it evolves over time.

Please make this change - then the app would earn 5 stars on my opinion. It will help my health care providers see a more complete picture of my heart health (including detecting issues) if I had a longer/historical view of blood pressure data entries, in graphical format.

Thank you for creating this app! I love the Bluetooth feature and that the readings are in one convenient app.

### 3/5 — Glitchy

*2022-02-24, version 1.8.1*

Great app other than every few days when it goes to save my data it glitches and kicks me off. It won’t let me do anything on it and repeatedly kicks me off when I click save and I have to delete the app and reinstall it for it to work again.

### 3/5 — It’s great… when it works

*2022-02-04, version 1.8.1*

The reason I bought this BP machine was for its ability to sync the results to my phone. When it connects, it is great, BUT every week or two I have to delete the app and reload. It randomly decides to just refuse to sync. I would hate to be an older person trying to deal with such a finicky product. I have downloaded it so many times since December, I know the pattern of where the buttons are to touch for the app setup. I think I could do it with my eyes closed. For the amount of money spent to purchase the machine, I would expect a more stable interface.
iPhone 8+

### 3/5 — Infinite crash glitch

*2022-01-16, version 1.8.1*

When this app works it works amazing but what’s holding it back from 5 starts is the fact that sometimes it won’t detect your monitor and then will get stuck in an infinite crash loop until you uninstall and reinstall it again. Very annoying as it happens decently often!

### 2/5 — Cannot connect via bluetooth

*2021-11-29, version 1.8.1*

It worked the first two times syncing with iphone. Now after 10+ attempts it can no longer establish bluetooth connection.

I double checked that bluetooth is on for both bp device and phone.

The troubleshooting tips basically say: “make sure bluetooth is on” and “try turning it off and on again”.

There is no support email or phone. There is nothing I can do. Why would anybody pay extra for the bluetooth enabled device when the app just can’t connect and you have to enter in every reading manually? The bluetooth was the main reason for this app and this device model.

The part where it just “magically” connects? It just doesn’t.

### 3/5 — App is stuck

*2021-11-13, version 1.8.1*

All of my readings go into the list of readings to approve to be saved.

Clicking finalize and save just crashes the app.

Meantime, all new readings are stacking up in the pending list.

Bluetooth is also a bit wonky. It connects eventually. But it is kind of hit and miss and may take a few tries. Clearing out and restarting the app seems to help it connect.

I’m surprised by the bugginess of this app since it is supported by Walgreens.

No updates in over 7 mos. unless I am the only one experiencing these problems, I can’t see how they would not have addressed the issues.

Fix the app and it may be great.

### 3/5 — Not working

*2021-11-11, version 1.8.1*

After the last update app stop saving my results. It does sent it to my phone but when click on finalize and save the app crashes and quit. It was working fine before the update. Please fix it... I need to be able to record my readings for my doctor.

### 3/5 — Crashes

*2021-10-04, version 1.8.1*

I love this app, I recently had to start taking record of my blood pressure and writing it down is too boring. I want something to do if for me. However it shows me my pressure and when I try to save it it closes. I really need this to work well. I’m hoping this issue can be resolved

### 2/5 — App crash

*2021-08-27, version 1.8.1*

I bought the monitor and synced it to my phone. I have two users and now the app is on a screen wanting to verify the was no mistake and assign the user reading to the proper person. It fine and I tap finalize and save and the app crashes. I lm unable to record the reading g and sync new readings to the phone. Please fix!

### 3/5 — Rad Tech Dad

*2021-06-27, version 1.8.1*

I bought this machine after I found out about Bluetooth app , at first I was so impressed to now be so stressed out with this App on my iPhone. Machine has a lot of cool features but the App is so NOT working!!!!!!!! I need some help with this app since I learned my heart is not working as it should at my age I have atherosclerosisSo in this case I need a machine that I could count on and one that has working Bluetooth take too many heart medication you have a machine that I have bought that does not perform for me. Can someone help me please

### 2/5 — Was great but now doesn’t work properly

*2021-06-26, version 1.8.1*

The first five months of use, this app was great, worked almost flawlessly. Now, it refuses to save my readings and just closes the app when I tell it to save. Some days, it forgets current date and time.

I deleted the app and downloaded it again, but that didn’t help. And I can’t find any way to contact the developer for assistance.

Junk. I’m deleting it again and will keep track of my bp the old way—pen on paper.

### 1/5 — Bluetooth not working

*2023-09-09*

It’s not working- it’s connected to my phone (phone is updated and is an iPhone 14, shows the BP as connected to Bluetooth.) Date is still not updated on this monitor as instructions say will happen when connected. Also the “Bluetooth icon on BP machine” is not on, even though it is connected to my phone. I have tried to connect phone and monitor-with monitor on and off. I get a message from app that it is not connected, to Bluetooth after it appears to have tried to connect. Weirdly app asks to verify which model and I check yes/or continue and then msg not able to connect! It’s already connected in my phone- the app doesn’t show a new update since I installed it a couple days ago.

The settings for the app are on, BUT IT WILL NOT CONNECT TO THIS APP AND I CAN FIND NO PLACE FOR ASSISTANCE!! EVERY “help” link just circles back to the same UNHELPFUL PAGES.

I would LOVE TO GET THIS FIXED; and change this review- please share a way to get help for this.

### 1/5 — Terrible app for an awful machine

*2023-05-11*

I’ve had the associated bp monitor since late Jan 2023. App & monitor worked pretty reliably until Apr 15, 2023. Up to then, I’d have a few misses/syncing issues each month. After that date in April, no syncing & error messages with every use. I’ve spent hours trying to remedy - changed batteries, offloaded/reloaded app, played endlessly turning Bluetooth on and off both on device and my phone. There are never any updates to app. To make it even more frustrating, I now get multiple error messages when I use the monitor. Always the Bluetooth connection error, and intermittently every other error possible. I paid $100 for this device and need to use it 4x/day in course of care for elderly parents. It’s a joke - don’t waste your money.

### 1/5 — Please help no developer email

*2023-04-17*

My lovely $85 blood pressure device does not allow user 2 to be accessible. User1 is fine. Uploads, beautiful. User 2 has no data on the app. User2 does have data on the device. There has been no way to switch between user 1 and user 2. Inspite on getting for a looong time.

Where is the app manager email? The device is very lovely but the ios app is worthless for more than one user on a 2021 apple se phone. In addition the full writing doesn’t show up sized to my screen. So they are words i don’t get to see! Please help.

### 1/5 — Doesnt work for me anymore

*2022-11-16, version 3.7.5*

Was working well for about 3 months. Now the app will not save any data delivered to it from my blood pressure monitor. It says it is syncing with the device, shows the result from the test the device just took, and then when i click on save the data simply disappears forever.

### 1/5 — Multiple purchases multiple problems

*2022-09-05, version 3.7.5*

I have purchased three versions of this blood pressure monitor with Bluetooth every time I have issues with syncing to my devices. My latest issue is that my machine attempted to sync and erased three years of history. You would think with today’s technology and a budget the size of Walgreens, they would not put their name on something unless it worked consistently well. You can tell by the tone I am not happy with Walgreens. Multiple trips to their store multiple phone calls with their tech support and emails and still they cannot solve the issue with this app

**Developer response:** Hey there! On behalf of our development team, I want to personally apologize for the connection issues you've had with your monitor. This is not what our app experience is meant to be, and I appreciate your honest feedback. That being said, we've been hard at work and were able to successfully identify what was causing the issues in iOS 13. The good news is that this update is currently live and you can update now instead of your App Store. If you continue to have issues feel free to reach out to us at BPHealthApp@homedics.com.

Thanks again for your patience and feedback! -Matt

### 1/5 — App doesn’t sync

*2022-01-26, version 1.8.1*

I bought a new about 100 dollar bp monitor thinking it will sync up with my iPhone. Unfortunately it doesn’t work. The health data that would have been stored on the phone to trend my vitals failed to record. I’m returning the bp machine ASAP to get a different brand. The whole process is annoying.

### 1/5 — If only it was reliable

*2022-01-23, version 1.8.1*

If this app didn’t crash when trying to retrieve data from the meter, or fail to connect to the meter, I would give it 5 stars.
Killing the app and restarting it (swipe up from the bottom and swipe the app off the screen) doesn’t always “fix” the problem. Sometimes you have to “don’t save” readings that it finally retrieves.
Adding manual entries is klugey as well. Sometimes buttons work and sometimes not.
Maybe Walgreens should have hired a real development team instead of making it some high school kid’s science project.
If it worked, it would be an easy and useful tool. If it worked.

### 1/5 — Extremely buggy

*2021-12-08, version 1.8.1*

Do not purchase the Walgreen blood pressure monitor it’s too expensive and it doesn’t work with the app. The entire time I’ve had it for over a year now there is been malfunctioning readings information that doesn’t get transferred to the app. It will work beautifully for two or three days then crashes and you have to download the app once again. For God sake fix your app!

### 1/5 — No sync after a week

*2021-11-12, version 1.8.1*

Love the Walgreens Bp machine with Bluetooth. But after a week of readings the unit will no longer sync with my iPhone. The last time it managed to sync, after it showed my three readings, the app crashed and refused to store the readings. Now, it won’t even connect to the unit, even after an iPhone restart, and removing the batteries from the bp unit and resetting it.

### 1/5 — Worthless

*2021-06-13, version 1.8.1*

If you want to record and track your BP, this app will not do that. To be clear, the “automatic syncing” listed in this hyped description and the instructions is utter fiction. If you’re among the very lucky few, it may work … once. The BP monitor does not appear among your Bluetooth devices, and you cannot manually sync your monitor to this app. Your only option is make the entries by hand. Your thought just now, “What’s the point of getting this?” is precisely why you should look elsewhere.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — So easy

*2022-12-09, version 3.7.5*

Love having this device & connected app. Makes tracking & reporting so much easier.

### 5/5 — Have been using it for a year. Works great

*2022-03-05, version 3.7.5*

I take my blood pressure twice a day every day and it helps me keep track of my monthly yearly and of course seven day, with ease.

### 5/5 — Blood Pressure Monitor

*2022-01-02, version 1.8.1*

Very useful tool to track my BP as often I as wish, tacking action on a daily basis to avoid raising the measurements, I take my records to my cardiologist as a a reference.
Some times it’s difficult to synchronize with my phone, just delete the app and install it again.

### 5/5 — Recent user

*2021-12-29, version 1.8.1*

I’ve recently been diagnosed with stage 2 hypertension and need to start developing a history for my doctor. This program does that well and can export to excel, which is great.

### 5/5 — Way better than the Omron

*2020-03-26, version 1.7*

So I originally got the Omron 10 to use but surprisingly it doesn't sync with the Health app. At first I thought it was me but after many tries and internet searches found out it was a flaw in their program. The Walgreens BP app worked flawlessly right out of the box.

### 5/5 — iOS issues

*2020-01-08, version 1.5*

Upon purchasing our new blood pressure monitor, both my husband and I were excited to use the sync feature and no longer have to write it down.

My husbands Samsung phone worked flawlessly, however my Apple 7 plus did not. The monitor would freeze whenever I tried to sync.

I emailed the support email for help. Enter Matt. He tried everything that he could think of to fix my issue, but to no avail. We finally left it that they would work on this issue and that he would personally let me know when the issue was resolved.

I have been very lax in reading my personal email since before Thanksgiving. Today while cleaning out my email box, I found an email that he wrote to me
Almost 2 months ago, telling me that the issue was corrected!!! I immediately went to the App Store to make sure I had the latest BP Health and when I got home, I took my blood pressure..... IT SYNCED!!!!!!
I was in tech support almost my entire working career and it is very difficult in this day and age to find good and caring support people. Matt is one of the GOOD ONES!! Anyone that has worked with software knows that bugs happen— even the best have issues at times. But I can’t say enough good about his service.
This an awesome app and I highly recommend using it!! It gets an A++++++++++ in my book!

### 5/5 — Very convenient

*2019-11-24, version 1.5*

The first 3 readings it transferred the time data wrong but blood pressure right. It said it was afternoon and not am. But then it self corrected . I love that I don’t have to get a pencil and then write it down on my iphones health app . It transfers automatically so I have my diabetes readings and my blood pressure readings all in one place.

### 4/5 — Simple, useful interface

*2024-01-04*

Everything works pretty well, but it crashes and has to be reopened every time it syncs with the device. Upon reopening, it saves as expected.
Also, I never could get the reminders to work.

Otherwise, everything is very straightforward and easy to understand. It syncs with Apple Health just fine. Simple and easy is key and this app hits the mark.

### 4/5 — Saving data

*2022-03-05, version 3.7.5*

First couple days, the app worked fine. But, the last 3 days, when I tap “Finalize and Save”, the app just closes. When I open it back up, the past 3 days measures are still there, unsaved.

### 4/5 — Trouble saving measurement’s

*2022-01-26, version 1.8.1*

Have been using the monitor successfully for months, and it Bluetooths to my iPhone. Have tried to save the data to my phone today and the app shuts down wit each try?
