Take note my BDO account got loss in process and no one reach out to me to think i used to work there, no one can help or find out what happen to my account. So better think twice where u put ur money when ur not in Philippines and not able to go to branch where u open an account. ### 1/5 — bpi digital channels team! *2023-04-30* we are currently in the north america, i got a new phone (iphone 14pro) with my old phone number but in a digital sim (eSIM) bpi mobile banking registration is not processing. a failed registration means no extra security on my online banking. this needs attention bpi digital channels team. same time my husband had his new phone (iphone 13pro) with his old phone number and his registration was successful. the difference between his registration and mine is he’s using a physical sim (SIM card) aside from the phone models. i hope this gives some hint to the bpi team to solve the registration issue. ### 1/5 — Prepare for trouble if you switch or get your phone replaced *2023-01-02, version 21.5* If something happened to your phone where the data is reset, the phone was replaced, or maybe you’re upgrading, SMS OTP is flaky. 90% of the time it won’t work if you’re overseas. Without it, you can’t activate your Mobile Key which means you can’t transfer, pay bills, etc. What’s worse, their international toll-free hotline is flaky as well. You will end up having to pay credits to Viber/Skype/Your Carrier to call their direct line in Manila for them to escalate the issue. And the best you can do is try everyday to activate the Mobile Key because they don’t even notify you if it’s fixed or not. This has been a problem for years but still no solution. I would close my account if I could but I need to have a PH account open for remittances. ### 5/5 — Great Bank! *2022-12-21, version 21.5* Conservative bank with many security features. Sometimes it is a hassle to personally appear in the bank to change data and phone number but I appreciate it that the bank strictly adheres to it’s rules. I feel that my account is safer with them. Thanks BPI! ### 1/5 — WORST APP TERRIBLE TERRIBLE *2022-10-07, version 21.2* Bank Transfer is still not working. It has been 3 weeks now. Everytime I call their support they keep saying they’re on it. But I highly doubt so. Please fix iPhone mobile transfer so people can use this. What kind of service is this. The mobile key is not working and you don’t even bother to give the customer the option to use OTP instead. Worst ONLINE BANKING I HAVE EVER USED. If I could give zero stars I will. Your support is disrespectful and doesnt care and your mobile app doesnt help or work. You just care about getting more money but not lending out any help to your customers. ### 1/5 — unable to use this app *2022-09-29, version 21.2* I have update to the newest ios version on two iphones and both cannot even make a single transaction transferring money. It gets stuck in blank screen and the app would hang. Whoever is your developer better hire someone better. Their response is so generic that I dont even bother reading them. Now my only option is open my laptop, login and hopefully i receive the mobile key on the mobile. Please BPI DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS NONSENSE!!!! ### 1/5 — BPI app update *2022-09-28, version 21.2* Today when i tried to open my account the apps says i need to update. But my phone is an old iphone 6 and the system is still below the required System. It says download the old version but how? Where to download the old version? Now i cant use my bpi apps because of this! This update is not thinking of the people like me OFW. I rely on this app to manage my money on sending or transfering to my family members but now what do i do? I am outside the Ph but unfortunately it keeps asking me for update for ios13 but my phone is only up to date to 12.5 and i cannot force to update it to ios 13. It say i can download the app for the lower ios but it doesn’t work it keeps asking for ios 13. ### 1/5 — Forced Update to iOS 13 *2022-09-07, version 21.0* Please consider providing ability to use app’s version older than iOS 13 for those that have iPhones with older iOS with simple functions like viewing balance, transferring to e-wallets or other banks. It’s really very inconvenient for those that have older iphone iOS when or iPhones still work. While you try to make the app better for newer phones or iOS, I feel that it’s a poor customer service and discriminatory to those with older iOS or iPhones to disable the ability to use the last working version of the app for older iOS. I can’t even transfer money using BPI online because it kept asking me to validate using the BPI app. I’m in Manila right now, but it isn’t even sending OTPs to my local number.
