### 4/5 — 使えます。Nice!

*2008-08-27, version 0*

単純な計算機ですが、すごく重宝します。こんなの無いかなぁと思っていました。３２分音符まで表示される所が実用的！？

### 4/5 — Nice

*2008-08-02*

Only thing better would be if it could tag mp3s for djing.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Useless

*2020-05-07, version 2.1*

Using the tap tempo works however no microphone to detect song tempo changes. It would not work in the studio at all . An upgrade will help

### 1/5 — Bug

*2018-04-18, version 2.0*

When dotted or triplet mode, wrong msec is desplayed.

### 1/5 — Please update

*2017-12-23, version 2.0*

Calclator is wrong.

### 3/5 — Why are they all calculated wrong

*2020-07-27*

They’re all one off from what they should be. At 160 bpm the one bar should be 1500ms, 1/2 should be 750ms, and so on and instead the full bar is 750, 1/2 is 375, and on and that’s really frustrating especially since I actually paid money for this app. If it’s free that’s one thing but if I spend money on an app I expect it to work correctly

### 3/5 — Dotted rhythms wrong

*2017-11-27*

Dotted rhythms aren't calculating correctly. At 75bpm, says dotted 8th is 30ms

### 3/5 — Nice App.

*2009-07-16, version 0*

This no-frills app is very useful for musicians who wish to work out the timing of a piece, with a view to setting delay-time parameters or LFO sweep timing etc (the software calculates and displays these automatically). The main improvement that I would like to see is the option to display AVERAGE BPM over a time period. This would iron out out any inaccuracy due to vagaries in the tapping skills of the user, and would also allow a more accurate assessment of BPM in a piece of music that had been digitised from analogue tape where the speed can fluctuate slightly over time.

### 4/5 — Keeps me right in line.

*2010-09-09*

Quickly does exactly what you want it to do.

It would be helpful to add a reset button, sometimes it doesn't like to change tempos drastically (if tapping out a new song). Instead, it will slowly count down beats until it hits a new average. I have gotten into the habit of restarting the app at the beginning of each song.

### 4/5 — Handy app

*2009-03-05*

Seems like a handy app. I'll use it with my band at rehearsals. One improvement that can be made is if the Tap button lights when touched. That visual cue would help out.

### 4/5 — Very useful app

*2009-01-25*

The Hz algoritham is a life saver. Although I wish the app would allow for .5 bpm values entered manually.

### 4/5 — Pratique

*2008-09-29*

Simple et pratique pour les dj mais surtout pour les home studio. Il vous donne les temps pour programmer les appareils à effets en fonction du tempo...

## Most praised reviews (9 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Terrific!

*2017-11-12*

I love this app. I’ve had it as a staple for as long as I’ve owned an iPhone (since 3S). It has been invaluable for me in the studio as well as composing and songwriting. Love the new interface. Thank you so much

### 5/5 — Super!

*2017-11-10*

Endlich ist ein Update da!

### 5/5 — Simple and Great little app!

*2010-04-30, version 0*

Great friendly support and a great little app to boot! Does dotted 8th notes if you tape the mode button. Might be nice to key in the delay time with a keypad or have more lfo times. One more suggestion is to have a 'half' or 'double' the bpm button but maybe it’s just me who would find this useful? Great app, great price, what are you waiting for? This is perfect for all your old rack gear needs :)
UPDATE April 10: I'm hoping for an update, IE direct tempo input with a keypad. Brilliant app, hasn't been updated in a loong while (2008?!). LOVE the LFO readout. Any chance of compatibility for iPad or a tempo calculator that listens to a beat?

### 5/5 — Cool BPM Application.

*2009-09-27, version 0*

This is just what I need for setting the delay times for the effects units during performances of a live band.
It's smart because when you stop tapping, it holds the 'average' figure so you can read them, start tapping again and it resets automatically and you get the new timings straight away.
It also gives the double and half timings as well (saving mental arithmetic)

### 5/5 — Much better than tap the beat

*2009-01-17*

It does triplet values and frequency. It's 99 cents. It's ugly but I can deal. Good stuff!

### 5/5 — Bpm

*2008-08-15, version 0*

Very nice

### 5/5 — Cmon, it's 99 cents

*2008-08-15*

This app is a great value for what it does. While there is a free one out there, it looks like crap. I'll pay 99 cents for some aesthetics.

### 5/5 — BPM Tap Tempo

*2008-08-05, version 0*

This is an invaluable app, and a bargain at this price. Can't wait to see more from this talented developer. Download now everyone!

### 5/5 — Perfect!!

*2008-08-02*

Now there is no reason for those reverb tails and delays not to be in synch.
