### 2/5 — Good APP if you’re just buying gas… but…

*2023-03-18*

This app is good for a couple of reasons, but is bad for those of us they are trying to advertise to. You say you want to give a discount to those of us in the military and first responders, and even though we are completely verified correctly by your app every single time, the app fails to update to give said discount, ever.

I do appreciate the fact that I have been able to get gas from stations that have been closed, that’s nice. But to have been suckered to drive down the road a few extra miles to try and save money because you offer me a discount and the discount isn’t available because of your app, not ID me, is bad… especially since it’s been like this from the beginning for myself and all of my friends.

I have chosen to just not drive out of my way for BP or actually use them for the sake of the advertisement for a bit now, but I still like the other features for the average person.

### 3/5 — Doesn’t Work with BP Card

*2022-12-31, version 5.17.0*

Update: This app is hit or miss. It now works with the BP credit card. One night I went to 4 different BP stations, all listed in the app as accepting app transactions, before finding one that I could actually use with the app. Overall, I’ve had more positive experiences than negative ones but I was expecting so much more.

Previous: I made the decision to get this app and card after my credit card information was stolen at a pump. I liked the not having to insert the card. I used the app with another card and it worked like a dream. I get the BP 2 weeks later. It took days to be able to add it to the app. I called BPme and was told they’d escalate it but I’d have to wait 2-3 days. No response. I figured out on my own you have to call to activate it, which I did immediately when I got the card, but then you also have to activate it in the bank’s app which no one told me. Now, the card’s on the app and I’m at the gas station. The bank blocks the transaction. I call the bank and they say it’s the pump. I go another pump and I don’t get the 30 cents discount. I call the BPme app people and am told to physically use the card at the pump. The whole point of this was to not have to do that. However, I still don’t get the discount. I’m told they are escalating the issue but I’ll have to wait 5-7 days for a response. This whole experience was a waste of time and a tap on my credit.

**Developer response:** Hi there, we are sorry to hear about your experience, and thank you for providing your valuable feedback. We take your feedback seriously and will continue to look for ways to improve the experience for our consumers. Thanks, BPme team

### 4/5 — Pretty good but not today

*2022-06-25, version 5.3.2*

I’ve had generally good experience with the app up until today. Generally I can access the app and identify the gas station to pay online and get the discount. Today however the app didn’t work in Charlottesville VA. The app failed to connect to the payment method apparently. I trued shutting down my phone and then on again. Twice. The second time, I was asked to logon.I didn’t know my password so I tried to reset multiple times with no luck. Maybe the Internet connection was bad In Charlottesville. I tried to set a second gas station and it didn’t work either and was not able to connect to reset the password. I

tried to use the app one more time in Front Royal Virginia with no luck. Again I could not reset the password though the connection was good. I was finally able to reset the password when I got home so I guess the app doesn’t work sometimes if the connection is poor. And why I had to logon again I have no idea. It’s frustrating to logon when the connection is not good and you can’t reset the password.

### 2/5 — Love/Hate relationship

*2022-06-08, version 5.3.2*

When app works, I love it. When it doesn’t, it’s very frustrating. Was working great but time before last, it wouldn’t load. Then today it unlocked pump and applied my rewards, but when I tried to pump gas, pump said out of service. I tried several times with no luck. The pump would reset and looked like I could use my card but not the app. I left and went to Sheetz across the road.

Update: Just used the app at local BP. Gas went up .30 overnight. When the app works, it has been giving me .05 off a gallon. Today it gave me exactly .00 off a gallon. I guess BP won’t be happy until they take everything. BP came out with the app to entice you to buy BO gas. Since it’s no longer giving a discount there is no incentive to buy BP gas. It’s almost like a bait and switch. Gas is high everywhere but since BP is misleading with it’s app, I will no longer be buying their gas. I’ll go to one of their competitors.

### 2/5 — Bp app use to be good

*2022-05-17, version 4.49.8*

I’ve used the bp app for some time now and had always enjoyed using it especially during Covid times. But off and on and here recently just this past week I’ve been experiencing issues with the bp app. I thought maybe it was because of the rainy weather but even on a beautiful day the darn app wouldn’t work right. After confirming the station it would give me an error saying that “they’re experiencing technical issues and to try again”. I’ve removed the app, restarted my phone and reinstalled the app, logged back in and still it didn’t work right. I’ve emailed bp a few times about it and I get the same information on what to try (which I’ve done) but other than that bp doesn’t seem to try to make it right again. So I’m gonna try one last time in the morning after having had an update with my Apple phone to see if it’ll work but after that I think I’m gonna give it up. Sorry bp but I can’t wait forever. It was good while it lasted.

**Developer response:** Hi there, we are sorry to hear about your experience, and we would love to look into this for you. Please contact our support team at 1-800-333-3991, and they will do their best to assist you further. Thanks, BPme team

### 1/5 — I’d rather eat glass than set up this app again

*2021-05-04, version 4.30.1*

Possibly the singular worst setup experience I’ve ever had on iOS. The app link to email doesn’t work, the app link from email back doesn’t work. The password entry screen has no way to reload if it freezes. There is no paste functionality in the CC entry screen. I guarantee this was not worth the $10 credit I was offered to sign in. I can only hope the usage experience is better. If it is, I’ll add star(s) back.

Update - used the app for the first time. Had to drive to two different pumps to make it work as the first pump timed out (hung in the "waiting" mode while trying to select a grade) and was unusable. Second pump worked, luckily the station was empty or the failure would have been really annoying and awkward. The pump was still out if service when I left after filling up 5 min later.

### 2/5 — Clunky and Inefficient UX

*2021-04-23, version 4.26.12*

The app is a bit clunky and inefficient. It should be clearer where to go to locate your station and fuel, especially in larger cities where you have multiple BP locations on the map in a close proximity to each other and/or are located on the same street. Part of the problem is that the stations should be better set up to accommodate app usage by clearly displaying the pump number and address while you’re sitting in your car — otherwise, why stand at a pump to work through each step of the app when you can just quickly swipe your card? It would also be helpful to have clear confirmation of each step in the process to guide you through each step. The 5 cent/gallon discount is especially insignificant when it requires a minimum amount of spend each month - especially in the era of COVID when people are driving less and using less gas.

### 3/5 — Great (when it works) but zero customer support

*2021-04-14, version 4.26.12*

The app is great when it works, incentivizing payment with the app. I consider BP a premium product and the ability to pay without leaving my car seems like a premium idea. Unfortunately at several stations I get a “technical issues” error and can’t pay with the app. You get a discount using a linked card, but it’s less than half the discount of using a linked card through the app (5c versus 11c). There’s zero customer support for the app. Emails say you get a reply in 12 business hours, but my email from this weekend hasn’t been answered three full business days later. It’s a shame that it’s making me think less of the product as a whole because of that lack of standing behind the product.

### 1/5 — Non functional

*2021-03-26, version 4.26.12*

After a few days, I received an email saying that it would be 7-10 days more before they could get back to me. Two weeks later, after two app updates, I have heard nothing from anyone, and the app still doesnt work. I am done with the app, and done with BP

This app doesn’t work. It comes back with a notice that they are having technical difficulties, again and again. A week later...I again arrived at the pump and got the same error message that they were having technical difficulties. I called tech support and waited and waited for about 10 minutes getting constant messages that somebody would be with me shortly and again and again. I left the station and went home, about a 15 minute trip. When I got home I hung up. THE APP DOESN’T WORK AND TECH SUPPORT DOESN’T EITHER. Another day. I was going to ride past the BP station, so I called tech support before I got there. This time I got an answer, and the lady said since my problem was a “Technical Issue” my call would have to be escalated, and it would be 3-5 days before someone could call me back. If I were BP, I would be very embarrassed.

**Developer response:** Hi Steve, we are sorry to hear about your experience and would love to look into this for you. It seems that you are experiencing some technical issues. ### 1/5 — Unable to use the App

*2021-03-20, version 4.26.10*

I needed gas so went to my nearest bp gas station. I was unable to open the app-just an error message. I tried logging back into my account and was eventually locked out because of the technical difficulties with the app and I was unable to log back in for 15 minutes. I ended up having to reset my password. So I waited on the side of the road for 15 minutes to pass by but still unable to log into my account using the app. 15 minutes turned to 30 minutes and then an hour and still cannot log into the app-just getting an error message. I deleted the app and reinstalled and tried to log back in but still unable to log into my account using the app. This is why there should be a card in case like this when the app is experiencing technical difficulties. There should be a backup plan. Highly disappointed.

### 1/5 — Can’t link Bp Visa card to app

*2021-03-12, version 4.26.10*

Ever since Bp visa Synchrony had to send me a new card because there was fraud , I can’t link my Bp rewards card to my new card ... also it’s the 5 th new card in 3 years ... triple encryption is useless.
Back to the issue, I have called Synchrony Bank , My Bp rewards customer service , and Tech support . Everyone there is useless!!! It’s the worst customer service and Experience I’ve ever dealt with!
I have over 12 hours being on hold and dealing with everyone and no one there is competent to solve the dam problem! They told me 3 times will fix it with in 5 days and then you never hear back fro. Them ... if I don’t hear from them today I will switch all my business to Shell and Mobil apps - I have them both now no dam issues! Please hire a IT Tech that actually can solve the issue because your current staff is the worse

### 1/5 — Unreliable

*2021-02-09, version 4.22.4*

This app intermittently works. When it does it’s easy. But this app more often fails than works. I was at a BP station and the app took awhile to find it. Then it let me enter the pump number but didn’t let me pay. It was in the credit card screen and only let me check the information on my listed cards but never the button to pay for the gas. I can see all the cards I have listed. I even went into the gas station for assistance. The guy tells me to enter my credit card (which was already listed in the app). When I tried this I got the “something went wrong”. I tried two different cards, same error. I don’t have forever to troubleshoot at the pump and keep other customers from getting gas. So I lost my discount and my credit for using BP. This app should be seamless. It should just work. I would have done better just driving to a non-BP gas station instead of relying on this app my discount. This app needs much improvement.

### 1/5 — Not Worth the Hassle

*2020-12-19, version 4.20.1*

As a product manager for a software company, I have dealt with my fair share of apps. I’m familiar with common bugs and issues and can usually navigate myself around them when they appear. I attempted at least a half dozen times to create a password for a new account unsuccessfully. I tried to sign in through Pay Pal and attempted to manually create a password. Neither worked. I attempted to use the “forgot password” function several times and it failed each time. The app insisted that I “could not use a previously used password” when, ironically, I was attempting to setup a password for the first time.

In any case, I was never actually able to use the app so I cannot provide any insight to the functionality of the app itself. The fact that creating a new account from the app proved to be impossible for me earned this 1-star review.

### 2/5 — Terrible for many reasons

*2020-11-29, version 4.20.1*

Edit: I see a developer response below saying I should contact support. Sorry guys if you had read the review you’d see I have multiple times. I see no point in emailing again when they’ve already responded with zero help.

First it is unreliable. Second it’s a ripoff. Read on.
On many occasions I have had the app either refuse to acknowledge I am at a station or refuse to activate a pump. When you can’t rely on something it’s really worse than not having it. I kept using it for the extra discount... until at the end of a month I tried to fuel up all three cars only to have it randomly refuse to work for two of them. I lost my $100 spend because of that and therefore my extra discount. Contacting support was useless so the app went to app purgatory.
Until recently when I was towing a boat through an unfamiliar area and needed gas. There was that shiny green station, I read the cash/ credit prices and pulled in. My mistake. After filling up I see it charged me the credit price, even though I used their card through their app! A mistake I thought, I’ll just contact support! Support confirms this is actually their practice!
Let me say that again for those not paying attention. If you use the BP app even with a BP card at a BP station you WILL BE CHARGED THE CREDIT PRICE. I’m officially done with this company.

### 2/5 — BPFuel Prices With the app and a credit card.

*2020-10-20, version 4.14.1*

BP is not the least expensive place to get gas. However I have had a BP card for years and recently I downloaded the app on my phone. I get $.10 discount per gallon just because I have the credit card, and another five cents as long as I spend $100 a month, which is not hard at all. I have quite a few fuel apps downloaded and some are used regularly. However I do use the BP app more because even though BPs fuel prices are a little bit higher usually than others, with the $.15 discount the price usually beats everyone else. And I also know that I’m getting a little bit better fuel that I may be getting at the local corner Joe’s gas station.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Login & Pay downfalls

*2024-06-22*

Today I was going to get gas from DG because it’s close to my house, also because I have a $.10 reward. However, there is no option to redeem a reward my paying inside. Anytime I have cash on hand I always use it just for gas. because I think there was no option to use the cash I opted instead to go to the Shell gas station 1.2 miles away from my house instead of the BP gas station. I was already at that was only .2 miles away from my house. Although I only have a five cent reward with the Shell app, it gives me the option to redeem my reward and still pay inside with cash. Another update you might want to do is get rid of the one time sign in every single time you open the app with your email. It’s not clever, it’s actually quite annoying. Especially when I accidentally close the app and then I have to open it back up again and login through my email. It’s just annoying, go back to passwords please and give us the option to stay longer. Everyone else does it it works, it’s not necessary to change something that could be so simple.

Yours truly
An annoyed customer

### 1/5 — Money Hold

*2023-08-01*

Why is there a 48 hour hold for over a $100 on my card for $15 of gas??? I will not be using this app for gas anymore that’s ridiculous, the pump only holds that much for a few minutes. This is horrible. Update*** Called the customer service as it has been 4 days now that they have held my funds and they said their merchant requires 3-5 business days of holds and to call my bank. Call my bank and they said it looks like a 7 day verification and they can’t cancel it! Are you kidding me this is the worst experience ever! Forget this app and this company. Update*** it is now Tuesday I used the app Friday and still no money back, this is completely unacceptable. I am now going to be short on my bills due to just wanting to get gas, via the app. I do not recommend it! I’m sorry this is the worst, when you work hard for your money and you are not able to see or use it. I can only use this time to discourage people from making the same mistake I did in trusting this app.

### 1/5 — Not worth It

*2022-10-22, version 5.12.2*

I consume a lot of gas. I have about 4 rewards programs I use—depending on where I am. Up front, I am put off by this loyalty program, because even I cannot commit to spend $100 at B/P in a month, without actually pulling over searching for a station, the driving out of my way just to be in pursuit of saving 5 cents per gallon by first spending $100. Other loyalty programs offered by Marathon, Shell, and Speedway offer 5 off every fill-up without requiring a minimum spend. Also, I find the app to be cumbersome and slow, due to all the time spent entering info at each fillup—instead of just being able to enter my phone number. Last time I visited, I was determined to get the app to work and earn points. So determined as I was, I sat in my car at the pump trying to make it work. After 15 minutes I screwed my gas cap back on and drove across the street to Speedway—where I was in & out in 3 minutes. Regarding the promo, “pay without leaving your car”, that is for dreamers…if I can sit in my car, who is pumping my gas??? A lot of hype in the advertising for a mediocre (at best) loyalty program.

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2022-08-14, version 5.7.4*

I’ve been having problems with the app lately. every time I try to get gas there’s an error of some sort, either it won’t go online or it’s telling me that my cards is not good anymore. yesterday I went to the pump and use the app and it told me my card wasn’t working and it popped up some kind of PayPal thing so I deleted the PayPal. I made sure that my debit card was good. It still wouldn’t work. I drove home, not getting any gas, got home and i got an alert from my bank saying did you try to get gas, I said yes but I was already home by then so I went back today and it was five cents cheaper which means $.10 cheaper for me so I started pumping it and it went from 385 to 390 instead of 380. So in the meantime in inadvertently I took $30 worth of gas so I went inside and I spoke to the guy and he informed me after arguing with him me it was always like that. Not trye at all. He finally said that as of two months ago debit cards and credit cards are considered the same on the app can’t use the debit card that you use on the app just as the card to get your awards you don’t get the rewards if you use just the debit card that you use on the app so I am writing this review. I remove my credit card from the app and I’m gonna be deleting the app and go to quick Chek they take debit cards and they’re a little bit cheaper anyway very disappointed in your company

**Developer response:** Hi there, we are sorry to hear about your experience, and thank you for reaching out to us. When using the BPme app to purchase fuel, you will always be charged the stated credit card price. To receive any other prices (debit card pricing or discounts for specific credit card brands) that are offered by the stations, you cannot use the BPme app. Rather, you must use your actual linked payment card at the station or enter your ALT ID (phone number) at the pump. Any qualifying purchases will be counted in BPme Rewards. If you need any further assistance, please contact our support team at 1-800-333-3991, and they will do their best to assist you. ### 1/5 — This app is deceitful!

*2022-07-07, version 5.6.1*

If you look at the description, they make it look better than it is just to get you to sign up for their $0.99 per month subscription!

In the beginning, they mention comparing prices within a 2 mile radius. But later down it says only 1/2 mile radius! Also, they only mention (in the beginning) a minimum of 8 gallons purchase each month to get the price match. Later down, it mentions that you must spend $100 on fuel in a calendar month to keep your $0.05/gallon discount! Which is it?!

Please read the “Description” for apps. After reading this description, there is NO way that I am going to signup for their program. It’s not worth the subscription price..especially since the “price match” is UP TO $0.05…not just an automatic $0.05 off per gallon…which I think that if you are paying a subscription fee, that is the least they could do.

### 1/5 — Impossible to setup and then actually use

*2022-07-05, version 5.6.1*

I really want to use this app due to the sheer number of BP stations around my house. My choices are Mobil or BP. The Mobil app works without issue but for the life of me, I can’t get the BP app to work at all. I even went online to create my account since the app refused to recognize my password. Then, after getting everything in order online, I returned to the app and was able to get in. But, once I tried to enter my payment method, it suddenly and unexpectedly tells me my “login is not complete” and offers three options: Retry, Call Us, or Log out”. Retry only brings me back to the same screen and I have no desire to place a call to deal with something that should be working. Huge fail on the part of the developer. Their call center must love the phone traffic this generates.

### 1/5 — Three BP Locations, Three Failed Attempts to Pay

*2021-12-31, version 4.45.5*

I had a reward on my American Express card with an incentive to use this app to pay for gas. I download it, added my card, and I drove to the nearest BP station that supported the pay feature. I got there and the app consistently would throw an error saying it “encountered an error” when I tapped the station I was at.
I waited two days and then decided to try another BP that supported the lay feature. When I got there I was able to select the station and my pump, but when I selected my AmEx it would spin for a long time and then say “the transaction couldn’t be completed.” After that, I drove to my third BP station to try and redeem the offer that got me on this goose chase. I pulled into the station, tapped the station to confirm I was there, and BOOM - it encountered the same error as it did at the first station a few days ago. Irritated I drove to three different BPs and not one time would the app work correctly. I’m sticking with Speedway.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2021-12-15, version 4.45.5*

This App stinks. I downloaded app and put in my credit card into app. This Gas is more expensive but wanted to try out the service. Went to a pump and it asked me to select pump number. After doing so it gave me error. After trying 3 times I just left. I’ll go to a different station and pay with a credit card instead of counting on this service and wasting my time. Thanks for making things complicating BP.

Response to technical support:
No thanks. I’m not going to call you and waste my time just so you can figure out issues at some gas station. The gas costs more than other brands anyway. Your app isn’t solid and I’m not even going to waste my time to drive to the station and try again. This service intended convenience is in reality a random inconvenience.

### 1/5 — False Advertising - You have been Warned

*2021-11-06, version 4.43.5*

Got this app due to higher gas prices and even got the BP platinum credit card. Combined both to get their 30 cent off offer and use the app to get gas. Went to THREE different locations based on the app and all three locations showed a different error so I couldn’t use it. My iPhone is up to date and so is the app according to the App Store. Even tried using the card itself without the app and the prices didn’t drop.

This is a case of false advertising. Going to cut up the credit card after I pay it off as this is a total sham. The app is horribly optimized and doesn’t work. Can’t wait to see the copy and paste response I’ll get from the developer saying to contact them saying they’re sorry and contact the number to get help.

I contacted the support line on the card and they “agreed” to give me my money back for how much I spent and have yet to see if. Highly recommend you STAY AWAY from this application and use Wawa rewards as they are legit.

**Developer response:** Hi there, we are sorry to hear about your experience, and we would love to look into this for you. You can contact our support team at 1-800-333-3991, and they will do their best to assist you further. Thanks, BPme team

### 1/5 — Horrible Tech App Team Apparently

*2021-05-17, version 4.30.1*

I cannot believe how horrible this app is and how many problems it continues to have. Like many of the comments posted by other users, you cannot login or register anymore on this app without getting an error message. Multiple calls to customer service doesn’t help whatsoever. They continue to say they will send in a tech support ticket but nothing has happened over the past month. I find it so hard to believe that all these other gas apps from other companies work just fine but why this one continues to struggle is quite a joke.

UPDATE
I tried calling the number that you gave me to talk to your technical support team and they were not able to get it corrected. This is not just an issue with me but with several users it appears. Fix your app and your website!

### 5/5 — BP gas

My F-250 SD super cab with 8 ft bed 6.2L and gets roughly 750 miles on a tank of BP 87 Octane. Shell 87 is the next with over 700 miles. Walmart 87 and got 520 miles. BP gets me 15 mpg half city driving and the other highway. Colorado to Florida 3 times this last year mostly She’ll on interstate and Florida BP. I think some of it today’s engine are more scientific and need better gas:)
PS. How about putting E85 at all BP stations?
PS. You know flex fuel vehicles running E85 produce less emissions? Easily pass smog emissions if properly tuned?
PS I got 2 E85 ( drag week cars ) vehicles and 1 Flex fuel
PS Instead like VP racing fuel...how about BP E85 pump gas:)

### 5/5 — The app is not working anymore

*2021-03-23, version 4.26.12*

I tried to pay gas today from the app, the account was logged out without notice. I tried to logging back in and it said my password was wrong, when I tried to reset my password I wrote the one I used before that marked it wrong and it said “you can’t use your previous one”.
Then, I finally reset it with a new password and after I log in my screen keeps being white forever and never logs me in. I already turned the phone off and turn it on again three times and still doesn’t work, it keeps logging me out and having a white screen after logging in.

### 5/5 — Nothing But Pump Activation Errors

*2021-03-10, version 4.26.10*

Update: Customer Service offered assistance shortly after my first review. I decided to wait until right after my next attempted use so they could more easily troubleshoot the glitch. This time it worked flawlessly just like it always used to. BTW I’ve been exclusively using the same station since COVID-19 hit.
Original 2 Star Review: It worked great for maybe 9 months but it fails to complete the transaction for the last two months. It even failed once after unlocking my pump. Luckily I spotted the app error before driving away.

### 5/5 — Same login issue again and again.

*2021-02-10, version 4.22.4*

The app logged off the account when app was updated. A lot of apps such as Chase or games don’t do that. When it’s logged off, login will work when it’s connected to WiFi, not LTE. I’m writing this review over LTE while BPme app reported network issue. In the past, I had to login when I’m connected to WiFi. I bet I will be able to login when my phone is connected to WiFi. Without this app, I’m skipped BP today while my Exxon Mobil app is working. I couldn’t believe that it couldn’t be fixed after so many revisions.

### 5/5 — The app is great but no discount

*2020-08-20, version 4.12.2*

The app is great, always picks up the correct station and unlocks the gas pump. The only issue is, paying is always credit, even when using PayPal as a payment. The BP Stations always charge 10 cents per gallon when using the app. There is no way around it, so I end up paying 5 cents more a gallon since the discount is only 5 cents. I am not sure why BP has the app, if they have a 10 cent discount, then it would be great, at least this way I am paying what a cash paying customer is paying and not 5 cents more.

Another gas company allows you to pay the same amount as cash by using their app. I use PayPal to pay. It’s not PayPal credit, it is the money I have in my account with PayPal.

### 5/5 — Individual results may vary

*2020-01-11, version 1.60.4*

In general, the app works well, the individual location participation makes it sad. The premise I was led to believe was that, if I linked my BP gas card to the app, discounts would be treated as they are at the pump, BP cards are treated as cash sales, thus the discount would be off of cash prices. This is true in some stations, but not all! My most recent purchase was using a 10¢ discount, but the discount was taken off of the credit price, so, the actual discount compared to the cash price was a whopping 2¢!
Corporate needs to get all of its franchise players on the same page, to make the usefulness of the app more appealing.

### 5/5 — Great App for Cold Weather and Safety!

*2019-11-15, version 1.60.3*

Overall, this app is working well. You can set up multiple payment types (credit cards, debit cards, PayPal, etc), which provides flexibility. Paying for gas is a simple wizard process to select the pump, payment type, the purchase, all while sitting in your car. For cold or inclement weather, this avoid the hassle of standing at the pump to go through the credit card process, or even running inside to pay. Similarly, this provides for a further level of safety in that you can leave your credit/debit cards in the card, and focus on pumping the gas.

### 5/5 — I was skeptical, but it works well.

*2019-10-22, version 1.58.6*

Our local BP station is pretty basic. I use it because I want gas with a better detergent than the Raceway gas. I’d used the previous BP rewards program and it never worked as the stations didn’t recognize my Amex card and as I don’t intend to carry around a separate reward card I only used it for my ‘play’ car which only gets gas once a month. However this app works really well recognizing the station and the pump right away. It unlocked the pump and processed the payment accurately and fast then sent an email receipt. I think I’ll be using it for all our gas locally. Going on a couple of road trips soon so will see if it continues to impress. Fingers crossed!

### 5/5 — New BP app and rewards! Home run!

*2019-10-02, version 1.58.2*

Was really pumped (pun intended) for the new rewards program. I have to admit I was a little nervous about what changes they’d make but the perpetual $0.05 off/gallon is awesome. I’ll end up with more savings compared to the old program. Right on!

I was totally surprised (in a good way) by the new app too. They really nailed every part of it. Even the new icon looks great on my home screen.

Love how everything has been redesigned and it looks very modern and clean. Set up was super smooth and it’s very easy to navigate and use. No problems updating settings, adding payment, checking rewards and history etc.

### 5/5 — Future Technology At The Pump!!!

*2019-06-04, version 1.8.0*

So, I too, had experienced a few glitches with the app when I first started using it. But since then, it’s worked pretty flawlessly. I can see my rewards balance right away, and be able to let them know whether or not to use it, or let it ride. Also it helps to tell you where the nearest BP pump is, especially when you’re somewhere you’re not familiar with. And lastly, it’s great not having to pull out my wallet! I gas up a lot in New Jersey, where you can’t pump your own gas. So I pull up to the pump, enter the info into the app. Tell the attendant how much, which grade, and whether to use the reward or not, and then tip and go! I also appreciate the extra rewards BP sends as well, keep up the good work BP!
