### 4/5 — Blocks

*2020-05-30*

What is up with the block challenge? I have been with you for years and thought for sure you would make it work. It is almost like it was not finished and you rolled the app out anyways and started making money so why fix it. The rest of the app is great but I am a person that would not want my app to not work 100%. Have some pride in your work and fix it.

### 2/5 — Please add the option to turn off the timer

*2018-12-08*

Being able to turn off the timer would make your game accessible to people with disabilities.
I downloaded it for my daughter who is physically disabled.
It COULD be a great game for her IF we could turn the timer off.
Unfortunately, the timer makes it inaccessible to her since she is not able to complete the games in the time that is allowed.

Being able to turn off the timer would also allow people to use it in kind of a ‘relaxation’ mode.

My 2 star review is based entirely on the timer. Other than that, it’s a nice, visually appealing set of games.

### 2/5 — Not good

*2018-09-02, version 1.6.4*

I mean this game is plain old trash. There is no timer option, the colouring one gives you full marks for scribbles and the block builder makes no sense at all. The only decent puzzle is the pipe one, but even in itself it’s trash.

So,

Improve.

### 4/5 — Good

*2018-02-03, version 1.6.2*

I play this every day
It's good
But I would like more games

### 4/5 — Needs Instructions and No Timers

*2018-01-27*

I can’t figure out how to do the game where you match the block patterns. And timers shouldn’t be on games where you need time to think.

### 3/5 — No timer option

*2017-12-25, version 1.6.2*

This would be great for people with dementia if you could turn the timer off

### 4/5 — Not too hard to figure out

*2017-03-30*

Yes, it doesn't include instructions but it isn't that hard to figure out. Don't overthink it, it's not as tricky as it may appear at first. It is instinctual so the appropriate user could really be determined not by physical age so much as mental creativity. Think patterns, spelling, logical sequences, matches and "what doesn't belong".

### 2/5 — Some instructions would be nice

*2017-01-04, version 1.6*

Would be nice to know what you are supposed to do in each game. Have figured out most but with some obscure like the drawing one, no pint in keeping half a game on my iPad. This is getting deleted.

### 3/5 — No instructions

*2017-01-02, version 1.6*

The games on this app are easy on the eyes, colorful, and inviting. The problem is that there are no instructions whatsoever on how to play each game. I understand that they are meant to be brain games, but what's the point of having a game if you can't figure out how to play? You're only allotted so many seconds for each game, so you're even limited in the time you have to try to figure it out. The description of the app says it's for anyone aged 10-110, so that gives the impression they're easy to figure out, but not so. I asked 3 different children to play, aged 10, 12, and 15. None could figure out how to play all of them. A few of the games were easily figured out , but they struggled with the same games I did.

### 3/5 — "Lost Connections"

*2015-09-04*

has a problem. The instant you solve it, it's gone. Let me have a second or two to enjoy my success!!! Actually, I like this app more every time I play it. Thank you for solving the annoying advertisement issue!

### 2/5 — For young kids only

*2015-08-21*

This app is rated for kids 9-11 (4th-6th grade) but the activities seem to be designed for kids much younger than that, perhaps in first grade (I am no expert). Many of the games have no set goal and even the ones that do test EXTREMELY basic skills and some can be easily "gamed". I am extremely skeptical that it would help kids developmentally. Not worth the money for me.

### 4/5 — Awesome

*2015-04-20, version 1.4.1*

This game is so good because it challenges my brain! It's fun and I like the way it's for kids so they can learn and help improve brain performances.

### 5/5 — Amazing👍😜

*2015-04-03, version 1.4.1*

This app is fun and educational at the same time!I love it!!!

### 5/5 — Great Game

*2015-04-03, version 1.4.1*

Very interesting! Glad that they unlocked all games after update :)

### 5/5 — Awsome

*2015-03-22, version 1.4.1*

This is helping me sooooo much thank you for making this app

### 4/5 — Good fun

*2015-02-26, version 1.4.1*

What a great free app. Nice graphics and makes my kids think a bit. Ignore the review from 951pow below – not sure what they’re going on about. This app is free, nicely executed and does exactly what it says; moaning about it not being an exam revision app when it never claims to be seems rather . . . um . . . odd.

### 4/5 — Very cool

*2015-02-18, version 1.4.1*

I really enjoy this app! I is really nice and pleasant. I think this app would be even better if you added more activities. Other than that, this is one of the top 5 apps. Thanks!!!😀😀😀

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Why do I have this on my school iPad

*2018-03-21, version 1.6.4*

Why is this a game for nothing it great but we can not play this epic game on my school iPad

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2017-01-17*

How do you put out a game without any instructions at all. That's crazy bad. Listen to the real reviewers and fix your app. Too many bugs. I also think you should give us the option to choose how much time should be on the clock and an option to take the timer off. I wanted to find apps that I could teach an autistic adult but he would get way too frustrated with the clock.
Also, in your app I tried to contact you by email but that doesn't work either. I think the coders gave up on this app.

### 1/5 — Strange

*2017-01-03, version 1.6*

No instructions given as to what you should do. So kinda difficult to play. Worth the price.

### 1/5 — How could you

*2014-12-18, version 1.4.1*

My daughter was really cross and so was I when she told me that the game she downloaded to study did not have any proper subjects and only stuff like match the tiles. My daughter was trying to study for her exams and was really stressed so you just made it worse.

### 1/5 — I has bug problems...

*2014-07-08, version 1.2*

I have an iPad mini and it seriously has some bug problems. It's not even fun with these problems.

### 1/5 — Ehhh

*2014-06-23, version 1.1.1*

This game has some really fun games but don't delete the game after making a purchase because I bought all the games then 1 week later my brother deleted it. I restored all purchases and it did nothing. Anyway it's an ok game just a little hard for younger kids.

### 1/5 — Rubish

*2014-06-22, version 1.1.1*

This game is garbage

### 1/5 — Good in principle, except it doesn't work!!

*2014-06-21, version 1.1.1*

This app has great potential, but the dictionary on the word game is totally defunct, even after saying they'd fixed it!!
Basically, you can type in anything and it will accept it.
Great for scoring points, but not for testing your actual knowledge. Unless you are fluent in Gibberish and your vocabulary consists of words like Gyvdjggrz, and Cvjgsr!!

### 1/5 — You can do anything

*2014-06-19*

It gives a letter and tells you to come up with as many words as you can that start with that letter. I accidentally messed up and it took my word anyways. So then I just started typing in random letters that weren't even real words and it was accepting them all. Also, finish the drawing, same thing, you can draw anything and it will give a ton of points. Stupid and pointless game.

### 1/5 — NNNOOOOOOO!!!!!

*2014-06-18, version 1.1*

I do NOT recommend this game! It will take any answer for the word ones, and one if the wire levels is impossible as none of the wires match up!!!!! DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!!!

I have been watching the TV show Brain Games with Jason Silva for 4 years. So I saw your game in the App Store. Great game! Just one small thing, I don't get "building blocks" I've been trying to figure it out for years. I just don't get the point. My favorite game on Brain Bean is pattern tiles.
