Braindump is a voice-first notes and reminder app for people who think faster than they type. Tap record, talk, and your voice memo becomes a clean note with a title, a short summary, your to-dos and a scheduled reminder. Say "remind me tomorrow at 4 PM to call the pharmacy" and the reminder is set for you, at the time you said. No calendar, no typing, no second app. WHAT IT DOES • Voice memo to text in seconds, in 59 languages, including Standard Arabic and 16 Arabic dialects • A title, a short AI summary and your to-dos, written for you • Reminders set from the dates and times you say out loud • Speaker labels for lectures and meetings: see who said what, and tap a label to rename it • Every note filed into a category on its own • Import audio and video files (MP3, M4A, WAV, MP4, MOV and more) and turn lectures, interviews and meetings into text • Edit and highlight transcripts, add checklists and photos, search every note • Share a note as text, as audio or as a link • A Live Activity while you record, and a home screen widget with your streak, latest reminder and open to-dos YOUR NOTES STAY ON YOUR PHONE There is no account to create. Your audio is sent to our servers only to be transcribed, and the finished note is stored on your device, not in the cloud. Also, my tasks are showing repetitive of the most recent one on the widget instead of listing the unique tasks that I have to do. The ad widget setting loads a blank card as well. Can’t wait for these things to get resolved and edit this to be a glowing review because this app is awesome. **Developer response:** Can you kindly send us a support email - screenshots do tend to help us prioritize bugfixes quicker. Email: contact@braindumpnotes.app ### 1/5 — Do Not Use this App *2026-09-14* Fraudulent company **Developer response:** Hello, what happened? If you reach out to contact@braindumpnotes.app we can sort it out. Saying fraudulent without proof or any explanation doesn’t help anybody. It never rings between 10 pm and 7 am. • Finish reminders from the Lock Screen: a reminder that's due stays on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island until you tap Done or Tomorrow. • Done and Later right on the notification, so you don't have to open the app. • Opening a note from a reminder no longer counts as finishing it. It stays open until you mark it done. Record from your Home Screen • New Record widget: start, pause and finish a recording without opening the app. It also shows your next reminder, your catch-up and your streak. Smoother everyday use • A catch-up briefing you've folded away stays folded for the rest of the day. • Pasted links stay clickable in your notes. • If the app is closed mid-recording, your recording is saved. • Restoring a purchase now closes the subscription screen on its own. • iPad layout polish and lots of small fixes. ### 1.5.5 — 2026-10-04 Braindump 1.5.5 Know who said what Recordings with more than one person now come back with speaker labels. Every turn in a meeting, lecture, interview or call is marked by speaker, so you can follow the conversation without guessing. Tap a label to rename it ("Speaker 1" → "Anna"), and the new name is used throughout the note. Speaker names also carry over when you share or export a note. Layouts that fit your screen We reworked the layouts so Braindump uses the space better on every screen size, from compact phones to large displays, in portrait and landscape. You get more room to read and write, with less wasted space. Sorted from the start When you set up Braindump, you can now pick the categories that match your life. Your notes are filed into them automatically from your first recording. Smoother sharing Share links now publish in the background and show their progress. On a weak connection, they finish uploading by themselves instead of getting stuck. Editor improvements • Pasted text now matches your note's style instead of bringing in the source app's fonts and sizes. • Undo and redo work reliably after pasting. • Text colors and center/right alignment display correctly. • Notes written in right-to-left languages open in the correct direction. Plus stability fixes throughout. ### 1.5.4 — 2026-09-15 In version 1.5.4, Braindump delivers a few upgrades. You can now export your notes as a text file or save the original audio, right from the share sheet. Braindump also lets you know when background noise might be drowning out your voice. Plus, you can hide your "done today" count until tomorrow, reminders are more reliable, and we fixed bugs along the way. ### 1.5.3 — 2026-08-26 Braindump 1.5.3 is here! This one is all about polish: we refined the UI in a bunch of small places and squashed a few bugs along the way, so everything feels smoother and more reliable. Thanks for using Braindump - keep the ideas coming! ### 1.5.2 — 2026-08-14 Braindump 1.5.2 is here! Your reminders now come with a recap - one quick summary of everything you've set, so nothing slips through the cracks. We also sped up transcription, polished the UI in a bunch of small ways, and fixed other bugs along the way. ## Apps similar to Braindump | App | Rating | Price | Category | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | [Brain Dump: ADHD Notes & Ideas](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/brain-dump-adhd-notes-and-ideas/id6448230631) | 4.3 (64) | Free | Productivity | | [Brain Dump: Voice Journal](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/brain-dump-voice-journal/id6473446030) | 4.5 (38) | Free | Productivity | | [Brain Dump - AI](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/brain-dump-ai/id6749907947) | 3.7 (3) | Free | Productivity | | [Donote : AI Note Taker, Memo](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/donote-ai-note-taker-memo/id6748352334) | 4.9 (54) | Free | Productivity | | [Notk-نوتك: Study Buddy](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/notk-study-buddy/id6751481106) | 4.7 (10) | Free | Productivity | | [Jot - Instant Brain Dump](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/jot-instant-brain-dump/id6755014707) | 4.9 (45) | Free | Productivity | ## More apps by Braindump - [Digital Scale for Grams: Treo](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/digital-scale-for-grams-treo/id6752496065) - [UV Index & Tan Timer: Sunkat](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/uv-index-and-tan-timer-sunkat/id6757200875) All apps by Braindump: https://appshunter.io/developer/1822994472 ## Related topics [braindump](https://appshunter.io/ios/topics/braindump) --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
