What a joke. ### 1/5 — Unusable across all devices: Constant crashes and zero support *2026-04-26* I am writing this to warn other users: do not rely on Brainscape for intensive studying. The app is currently broken across multiple platforms. The technical failures are constant: • Severe Crashing on iPhone & iPad: The app freezes and crashes repeatedly during card creation and editing. Whether I am using an iPhone or an iPad with a physical Apple keyboard in Split View, the experience is the same: the app stops responding. • Broken UI: Toolbars for images disappear constantly, and basic formatting like font adjustment is unstable. • Evidence Ignored: I have recorded videos of these bugs happening in real-time, yet the technical support remains completely inefficient. They provide generic answers and fail to address the actual software defects. It is unacceptable for a productivity app to be this unstable and for the support team to ignore clear evidence of bugs. I am a heavy user, and I can no longer use this tool. Save your time and money until they perform a major overhaul of their mobile infrastructure. ### 1/5 — Search engines sucks *2026-04-06* Finding your cards is impossible, the search engine is horrible, even if you type the exact thing word that appear on the card, it wont populate. And when things do populate, you cant go back or preview them, you have to start the search over again.. YOU can make the best cue cards, BUT good luck finding them to review. Attempted to upgrade to Lifetime through the app; paid through app with apple id- credit card charge went through; no upgrade though. Synced the app; deleted and reinstalled. Logging in with my Apple ID and it still says I have the ‘free’ version and want to charge again to upgrade to Lifetime. I received an email to verify my email which I did. Logged in on the web - says I have the free account. Unacceptable experience to take money and not provide the service.
