## What is Brainwave?

Binaural Beats and Solfeggio Frequencies to help you study, meditate & sleep. Brainwaves(delta, theta, alpha, beta, gamma), correlate to the different states of the human brain. Some studies show that these “states” can be achieved by using auditory stimuli i.e sound frequencies corresponding to the brainwaves using a binaural beats generator. The binaural beats generator works by sending two tones to the ears (carrier frequencies), the difference between the two being the desired brainwave.  

Solfeggio Frequencies are a set of tones discovered by a Benedictine Monk named Guido D’Arezzo. These are regarded as “sacred” and known to help in spiritual awakening. We have created music tracks corresponding to different Solfeggio frequencies. 

The app has an option to log mindful minutes to Apple Health.

This app hits almost all of the things I want. Love that you can change the carrier and beat, add music, light flash (beats paying $900 for a BrainTap) mix the levels and set a timer. The only thing that would be this hands down the most superior app was if you could modulate the beat frequency over time to prevent habituation and be able to play other audio from music apps. I would even pay for those features.

I put it on most nights before bed on a custom setting. I set binaural rate to less than 4hz and ambience to pink noise or rain (my preference). My only gripe is the ambient sound (pink and white)  has a very noticeable break in continuity that, at times, has broken my sleep. Rain sounds are less noticeable. 
Either way, such a useful and welcome app.

Love how easy it is to design your own binaural beats. The interface is easy to use, though you do have to learn what the Greek letters mean at first. I’ve used this app for years now and it always works great. No ads, too. Golden.

Been looking for an app that allowed frequency adjustments to the tenths of a frequency (X.X hz).  Thank you very much for this.

I really like the interface, clean and easy to use.  

Couple things, when selecting your own base frequency with the slide it is difficult to get the frequency you want.  If I could make a suggestion, allow us to tap on the base frequency and enter the frequency via the keyboard.  The other thing is to increase the upper base frequency of 600 to 1000.
