The fact that the same quotes hit you differently at different times of your life makes it something that I’m drawn back to. It’s a pretty easy setup (that has been tweaked throughout the years but) thankfully they keep all the essentials. It has the ability to save square sized pics of the quotes on a few template backgrounds to share online. Maybe they could add a few more backgrounds? Or a link to a copyright free photo site like pixabay or the ability to upload your own images as backgrounds? However, for some unbeknownst reason, I can't find any place to login or find the quotes that I have been saving in my own privately named yfiles for years. I have no doubt that this was not done out of spite or a malicious intent. But I would really like to have my quotes back that I have been saving for years. This was the premium site for the best quotes. You can look through and find excellent quotes for almost any occasion. Please bring back the ability to save the perfect quote in your own personal files. Or show those of us who can remember using the dial up internet connections to look at your site. I was super excited to see that they have an app. Great! So I downloaded it... and there's no sign in!? What's the point of having the app if it doesn't even have a sign in option for our accounts? I would basically have to start over with everything I've saved. Point being, can you add a sign in feature for the members that have an account online!? I truly love BrainyQuote and I'm sure others would love the feature on the app as much as I would! The app is useless to me because 100% of the time I come to brainy quotes, it’s to search quotes on a particular subject matter (i.e. regret, compassion, perseverance). The app is very limited in topics and when I do my seaetch I often get the message notifications results found for that topic. Plus it needs to sync with the desktop, and I need to be able to save and have favorites. Soooo disappointing! Deleting the app but I’ll check back in hopes they fix these issues. ### 2/5 — More Work Required *2016-09-30, version 2.0* The background images are pretty, though not necessarily inspirational. The quotes are not as numerous as in other similar apps, and if you select a specific category, you might find it only has a handful of quotes. The literary or philosophical value of many of the quotes is questionable, with several being attributed to 'Anonymous'. But most annoying is the fact that the widget does not work, often displaying nothing. This app is support it is for everyone. Sure you might not notice it at first, but it’s just because you haven’t found the right thing to search up. You can search up different types of things to quote on like women or men if you just search that in little search bar under explore then you can search up anything if it doesn’t pop it up then it’s probably because they don’t like have it on the app like nobody has made anything about it.
