### 1/5 — Stupid

*2013-02-01*

You have to buy everything except for piccolo trumpet. Can no one make a really good app for free? This ones not worth a penny. 0 Stars

### 1/5 — STUPID

*2012-08-25*

Have to buy each instrument for $3 each! Piccolo trumpet is free but I've been in band three years and never wanted to know what a piccolo trumpet sounds like. Delete!

### 1/5 — Payments

*2025-12-13*

You have to pay to play the interments in this and both of the wood and percussion I can’t rate this zero so it’s a one

### 1/5 — Money

*2025-09-03*

### 1/5 — I hope it goes down to one star

*2021-12-13*

I hate that I have to pay $3.00 just to play an instrument

### 1/5 — Greedy

*2019-11-14, version 6.2*

You guys want so much money

### 1/5 — Unfortunate

*2017-02-01*

Why do I have to pay?? The app would be amazing if you could use all of the instruments. Waste of time.

### 1/5 — Skip it

*2016-01-18*

Volume slider inop. Every note "pops" (bad audio).

### 1/5 — BrassIA = CrappolIA

*2015-10-19*

please do NOT waste your time or $$$

### 1/5 — Only one instrument - you pay for all the rest.

*2015-02-16*

Nice start, but it's not ready. Layout is great and instrument sound is pretty good, but there's no fade and no sound modulation (apart from straight volume), so when you stop a note (which sustains until you stop it), it stops dead, sounding awful.

Each new instrument is $3.79 and with 18 of them, that's not worth it. There's no offer of a bundle either.

### 1/5 — Money sucker $$$$$$$$$$$$

*2014-05-13, version 4.4*

They have way too many inapp purchases! They want way too much $$$$$$$$$

### 1/5 — In app C'mon

*2013-08-20*

I really don't feel like paying 3 bucks to something other than a piccolo trumpet

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great game

*2014-09-20*

Pretty fun

### 5/5 — Make notes even lower!

*2013-05-11*

Its good but instead of having super high notes you guys can make the notes go higher. I am practicing music for band and I cant even go lower than C. Please drop the notes! I am still giving you guys 5 stars. Please drop the notes!

### 4/5 — Good BUT...

*2016-04-01*

The game is good but the only hitch is that you have to pay for all of the instruments.

### 4/5 — Great app

*2014-07-22*

### 4/5 — Sousaphone please

*2014-06-07, version 4.4*

Please add the sousaphone

### 4/5 — Pretty cool

*2013-07-12*

Pretty cool

### 4/5 — Cool but not 100% free

*2012-08-08*

Not paying $2 for the tuba D :

### 3/5 — Good app, could be better

*2012-09-22, version 3.2*

This app is good, the principle of having all the notes for each instrument at your fingertips is great and works really well. The major point for improvement I have is the tone of some of the instruments, the French Horn doesn't really sound like a horn at all, the bass trombone is too thin and it's range should be increased to the Bb above middle C. The Flugelhorn sounds raspy and harsh, in reality it should be mellow and rounded. If these tonal issues could be resolved, then this would get 5 stars.

### 3/5 — My only gripe

*2012-08-29, version 3.2*

Great sounds and everything, but why put a record button on there to record everything in the background but what i just played in the app or am I doing something wrong? Five stars if sorted

### 2/5 — Major problem

*2013-02-19*

I don't mind the $3, but my problem is that the app is not pitched the same as the actual instrument. I bought the French horn app, and I was using it to find the correct notes as an aid to practicing on a real French horn. But you would have to transpose down a fifth to tune or play at the same pitch as a real horn. Also, it does not cover the low range of a real French horn very well- does not go low enough.
