BrassKeep is the private firearm logbook for collectors and range shooters who want a tool built for them — not a notes app, not a spreadsheet, not a marketplace.

Every firearm, every range session, every drill, every round you've fired. In one quiet, deliberate dark-mode interface designed for the kind of person who reads a manual before they touch a new pistol.

THE SAFE
- Every firearm: make, model, caliber, optic, serial number, photos, attachments, round count.
- Serial numbers are masked at rest and reveal only after a Face ID / Touch ID check — so a glance at your phone never leaks them.
- Maintenance and service log per firearm. Clean / spring-change / round-count reminders.

THE LOG
- Range sessions, drill sessions, shot-timer runs.
- Pre-built scoring for time drills, accuracy drills, USPSA hit factor, and pass/fail standards. Or build your own drills with stages, goals, and pass times.
- Track every round against the ammo lot you used so you always know your cost-per-round and what's left.

PERMITS
- CCW, hunting, and ownership permits with expiration reminders before they lapse.

ARMORY (optional subscription)
- Cloud sync across iPhone and Apple Watch.
- AI target analysis: upload a paper-target photo and get group size, flier detection, and grip / trigger / anticipation reads you can act on next range trip.
- Social challenges: send a friend a drill challenge with a hidden score. Both reveal when both have shot it. Per-friend and per-drill records.
- Stats dashboard with configurable time windows, recent form, and favorite-rival callout.

PRIVACY
- No ads. No analytics SDKs. No data sold or shared.
- Free tier is fully on-device.
- Armory data on a U.S. backend with per-user row-level security. Account deletion fully erases your server data within 30 days.
- Microphone is used by the shot timer only during a timed run, on-device only. Photos uploaded for AI analysis are sent server-side to the Claude API and stored privately. Challenge proof photos auto-delete 30 days after the challenge ends.
