Please can you fix this? The app was awesome before this bug. ### 4/5 — Really Good with Caveats *2026-04-12* I have several of the Lumbeat rhythm apps and they are fantastic, no contest. I use them daily for practise, production etc. There a couple of "buts", though. A couple of the apps drain the life out of the battery compared to other apps. It would also be nice to see consitency in exporting rhythms from one app to another. Soft Drummer to Jazz Drummer great! Brazilian Drummer to any other app, nope, but you can with Indian Drummer to Soft Drummer?... **Developer response:** Hi Pereshaped, Thank you so much for your kind words and for being such a dedicated daily user across the Lumbeat suite, that truly means a lot to us! Regarding your two points: Battery drain. You're right that some apps are heavier than others. The apps with the most realistic drum kits use a large number of round-robin samples processed individually in real time across multiple simultaneous tracks, kick, snare, hats, toms, cymbals and more. That richness is what gives them their natural, human feel, but it does come at a CPU cost. It's a tradeoff we've consciously made in favor of audio quality, and we're always looking for ways to optimize further. Cross-app rhythm export. Thanks for flagging this, the inconsistency you describe is real. Some app pairs share a compatible groove format and others don't yet, as a consequence of how the suite grew over time. Broader cross-app compatibility is on our roadmap as we gradually unify the architecture across all Lumbeat apps. We’re working to improve these areas and appreciate your patience and support☺️ ### 4/5 — Incredible potential, but missing a few features *2023-11-19* I love this app, it sounds great and has a lot of great editing features- but it’s missing some things that for instance MidEast Drummer has- the ability to export MIDI and Audio (full mix or multitrack) so you could for instance, airdrop it to your favorite DAW, a bit more control over meters when you’re building a custom beat, and frankly some kind of manual / tutorial out there to understand how to use the MIDI functionality, Ableton Link, or at least how to connect it via Audiobus / AUM so that you can export MIDI and/or audio to an external source. Just adding the export thing like it is already available in other lumbeat apps, would solve so much of this- this should be standard on all LumBeat apps! Definitely more inspiring than a metronome! I just don’t understand why i can’t find any instructions whatsoever…not on their website, not within the app itself. I’d love to use it on solo gigs but I don’t understand the interface for storing stuff. It's been over 5 years without a single update. I want my old (high-value) purchases to receive the AUV3 update. It's the least they can do for their existing customers. An incredible amount of sounds and rhythms, authentic, extremely useful for me. I use it as a metronome when I'm not practicing Brazilian music.
