The Tyler Brazos™ mobile app can utilize on-board GPS to capture the location of an incident, the camera or other peripherals to capture photos or scan barcodes, and print to available printers via Bluetooth or AirPrint. All of the information captured through Brazos can be delivered securely to either the Brazos secure cloud server or the client’s on-premise Brazos server. Information doesn’t transfer over from citations to warnings tab and will need to go through the rescan struggle and reenter again. App. also will have occasional glitches and switch tickets to warnings or vice versa. Note section have character limit which sometimes is not enough when there are multiple charges to document circumstances of violations. For several years, this app remains the same with no updates to improve performance and user experience. ### 3/5 — Scan Issues *2024-10-18* The app will not scan and fill Texas DL. Also, it will not scan VINs. ### 1/5 — Does not scan new VA OL *2024-01-17* Does not scan the new VA issued bar codes and worse at night with the ones it can scan ### 1/5 — License reader *2023-10-12* We just had our phones upgraded to iPhone 13 and it is almost impossible to scan any license.
