I’m thinking maybe the lighting on my tv is causing issues. I’m going to do more testing in darker environments to see if I can get it to work, but it’s a solid 3 stars rn because overall design is solid. Now though, it doesn’t seem to be working very well. It reads the screen just fine but it gives the wrong answers to the patterns. Sometimes it only shows one entry (ex. E9) as the answer, which is obviously impossible. Sometimes it can get answers for 3+ daemons, but when you follow the answers only one of them ends up being the correct pattern. It’s a good thing I’m not doing a netrunner build this play though, but still a little annoying since I paid for this app. ### 3/5 — Doesn’t work reliably anymore unfortunately *2023-09-29* Used this app through half of my first play through last year flawlessly. I have only one issue: the font size on the matrix side (lower left) for the solve is very tiny. White text on a light green background also was hard to see. There’s times the game will have only 4 slots but the app will tell me to add more buffer slots, causes to miss out on getting all the rewards per breach. ### 2/5 — Takes a bit too long *2021-06-12* My arms get tired waiting for it to come up with the solution. In fact I haven’t seen it give one solution yet. If you so much as fart it stops and tells you to hold the camera still. Finally got tired with it and solved it on my own. I got 2 out of 3 sequences in just a second or two. **Developer response:** I’m sorry it isn’t working well for you. It usually works really quickly like in the video on the App Store. If you want to join our Discord server at discord.foxhole.dev I’d love to hear what device you’re using and what platform you’re playing Cyberpunk on. It definitely works better on PC than console (the app description mentions that the app doesn’t do well at a distance if you’re using it from the couch) but other than that as long as you’ve got the right number of sequences selected, the right language selected if you’re playing the game in a different language, and the titles of the matrix and sequences boxes visible to the camera it should be a very fast process, almost instant. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Waste of time and money *2025-03-30* Does not work at all. The app works really well for me on multiple devices on the latest version of the game on PC. Been using it for over a year now and has never failed me. It’s works perfectly every time. Here are some tips: 1. Make sure the on-screen cursor in the game is out of the way. If your camera picks it up in certain spots, the app won’t return a solution. 2. Not all breaches are 100% solvable. It depends on how many buffer slots you have determined by your cyber deck. i.e. if you have 8 buffer slots but have 4 sequences requiring 9 slots total, it’s not physically possible to solve all sequences.
