## What is BreadCraft?

BreadCraft is the app for home bakers and sourdough enthusiasts to keep their own bread recipes, track their sourdough starter and time every step — simple, and it works offline.

BreadCraft comes without recipes: you add your own — type them in, import them from a web page, or let your AI assistant save them for you.

Whether you bake the occasional weekend loaf or keep a lively starter on your counter, BreadCraft keeps everything in one place.

NEW: YOUR RECIPES IN YOUR AI ASSISTANT
• Create, view and edit your recipes by chat with your AI assistant, e.g. Claude: "Save this recipe from the website in BreadCraft" or "Raise the hydration to 75 %"
• Connect it in Settings → Connect AI assistant
• ChatGPT: on Business, Enterprise and Edu plans (web)
• You stay in control: see connected assistants and disconnect them at any time; assistants cannot delete recipes

YOUR OWN RECIPES
• Create detailed recipes with structured ingredients and step-by-step instructions
• Group ingredients into sections (preferment, main dough, toppings…)
• Add photos of your bakes
• Tag and filter recipes your way
• Full edit history — see how a recipe evolved over time

BAKER'S PERCENTAGE, DONE RIGHT
• Automatic baker's percentage (B%) calculations
• Scale any recipe to your batch size in seconds
• Keep hydration and ratios consistent every time

SOURDOUGH STARTER TRACKING
• Log feedings with ratio, flour mix and amounts
• Track temperature, peak time and rise
• Peak timer — get notified when your starter should peak
• Visual charts and a feeding calendar
• Reminders so you never miss a feed

BAKING TIMERS
• Start a timer for any step right from the recipe
• Get notified when a stage is done
• See when you are done for the day and when the bake is finished

IMPORT & EXPORT
• Import a recipe from a web page into your own list
• Export and back up your collection

BUILT FOR REAL KITCHENS
• Works fully offline — your recipes are always available
• Syncs securely across your devices when you're online
• Sign in with Apple, Google or e-mail and password
• Light & dark mode
• Optimized for iPhone and iPad
• Available in English and German

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.1.0 — 2026-11-02

New
• Use BreadCraft with your AI assistant: create, view and edit your recipes by chat, e.g. with Claude. Connect it in Settings → Connect AI assistant; you can disconnect it at any time.
• Starter peak timer: when you log a feeding, start a timer for the expected peak. When it goes off, tap "Peak reached" or snooze.
• The starter dashboard shows how long your starter has been rising and when the peak is expected.
• End time in the instructions: see when you are done for the day and when the whole bake is finished.
• Signed up with Apple or Google? You can now set a password and also sign in with your e-mail address.

Improved
• Privacy: analytics and crash reports are only collected after you agree and are no longer linked to your account.
• Timer alerts on iPhone can break through Focus modes (if you allow Time Sensitive notifications).
• BreadCraft tells you when notifications are off and opens the right settings.
• Single-day recipes can set a start time again; overnight steps are marked "(tomorrow)".

Fixes and small improvements.
