Its fast-paced racing is exciting and the constant avoiding of the pursuer gives it a reason to keep going. The graphics are ahead of its time, and I have no idea how my phone can handle it. The concept of why you’re being chased and who is chasing you doesn’t make much since either, as none of this is explained in the introduction to the game. I got free perks to upgrade the spaceship in order to stay stealth and faster extra speed. I’ve notice everything stage were different than before. I completed some stage until 8 obstacle zone where there old wreck tower were instantly constantly falling unto spaceship! I was like “What the heck is that? They did updated new another stage???” I didn’t know they added more harder obstacle zone there no way you could dodge the wreck towers where in the 8 zone was much hard than I thought! Plus, they also increase pursuer enemy time is quickly getting attention of them is in danger sense. There no way you can get more boost. Unlimited boost is useless. It doesn’t save you from pursuer enemy because there’s much harder obstacle you had to dodge every time! I wish they should add danger sense ability where you can detect if it’s something happen, it would save you from nearby danger area. I give u bad zero rate. There one more thing. All perk upgrade wasn’t bad.. it’s another useless again. I felt like they made degrade spaceship ability wasn’t enough to overcome pursuer enemy. Pursuer enemy is hella fast catch the spaceship have no time to less boost, neither you use stealth ability is useless it’s will not lasting long to stay invisible. Pls don’t degrade spaceship. And…. since there no pursuer boss in the final stage… The description is a joke. What’s waste of a time and money. That's like saying a first person shooter has too much aiming at things. In fact I think this is an outstanding example of how to add much needed variety to the otherwise well-played-out genre. Different times-of-day give an entirely new aesthetic to what would otherwise be the same landscape, and the tournament system keeps the challenge fresh as well, though I have to admit I'm not sure what happens when you max everything out and the rewards no longer tempt you. I'm pleased to give this my highest recommendation for anyone who is of the futuristic/dystopian/wipEout fanbase. HOWEVER I came to this game firstly through the then-new Apple TV 4, where it was a prominent early release title. That version had superior controls to the iPhone version because of the availability of tilt-to-steer. Mere preference aside this is objectively superior because players who adopt this control scheme are, crucially, able to both boost AND steer simultaneously.
