### 1/5 — Won’t sync

*2024-01-29, version 2.2.34*

Pretty bad. Nothing really works.

### 1/5 — Connecting

*2024-01-07, version 2.2.34*

Why can my Samsung Galaxy S10, that’s too new for this app, see my Z2 but the iPad that the app works with cannot? Have to select a rating star so selecting 1 for now, due to this possibly being a user issue. Will update if it is. No problem with iPad seeing any other BTs in the house, yes the bt on the Z2 is on.

### 1/5 — 10/10 do not recommend

*2023-08-11, version 2.2.34*

The app is buggy still. I’ve had a lot of connecting issues. The device keeps disconnecting. Pretty annoying. It seems a lot of people have had these issues and have yet to be solved.

### 1/5 — Utter nonsense!

*2023-03-25, version 2.2.34*

This app is completely inoperative. I can’t register my machine or any data. If you don’t want to see any data, by all means this is the machine for you. This company should be ashamed of themselves! I would recommend they cease selling any machines until they make emergency corrections to this app.

### 1/5 — Worthless app

*2023-02-15, version 2.2.34*

It won’t let me complete the profile, so cannot set up the app.

### 1/5 — Cannot sign in!!!

*2022-12-08, version 2.2.34*

The program is not accepting the letters of my password, only the numbers which isn’t getting me anywhere. Sigh…

### 1/5 — Password

*2022-11-30, version 2.2.34*

Can’t enter. Piece of crap app

### 1/5 — Doesn’t display daily data

*2022-09-01, version 2.2.34*

This app has some major bugs with displaying daily data that has just been synced from the Z2. I can see the data in the week view, but the most recent day is always blank. In order to get it to show up, I have to delete ALL data from my phone, and then re-connect and re-sync with the Z2.

Given the lack of updates to this app for years, it seems unlikely that this will be fixed.

### 1/5 — Worthless app

*2022-07-29, version 2.2.34*

Won’t connect to machine and even when it does, doesn’t record the info. Thank goodness I don’t need proof of insurance compliance. Love the machine, but this app is WORTHLESS

### 1/5 — Download and controls work BUT

*2022-03-28, version 2.2.34*

Nitelog worked for two days and then stopped displaying data. Even though it thinks the downloads are complete nothing appears on the charts. On the first day of failure it shows 8 hours of sleep, which is wrong, and for the following now three days nothing but goose eggs. Using iPhone SE with all updates. I can turn the Z1 on and off so there is communication with the phone.

### 1/5 — Device password must be numerical only

*2022-03-19, version 2.2.34*

Must change device password to numbers only to link device.

### 1/5 — The app does not allow to enter password

*2022-02-19, version 2.2.34*

This is useless. I downloaded the app and it is as bad as the device itself. It does not allow me to enter my password. Z2 Auto is very difficult to use as well. Two pieces of junk!

### 1/5 — Nitelog

*2021-11-03, version 2.2.34*

The app simply doesn’t work with the machine. Not happy with the app or the product. $1000 out of pocket and week support typically from a representative from a foreign country. No way to know the machines password but regardless, the app doesn’t allow for one to type the password in. Like the keyboard function doesn’t work in the app. Typical service these days I guess.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2025-06-26, version 2.5.85*

The app won’t stay connected or recognize my device without unplugging the device and reopening the app. Additionally, it randomly assigns values to dates in the future and misses data after a so called successful sync

### 1/5 — Why Bother

*2025-05-26, version 2.5.85*

This is a complete waste of time and energy. Not sure why they even bothered making this app. I've had 3 nights out of a week that's it's recorded my sleep. Every night I've used it I make sure my CPap is connected and in the morning, Nothing.
I've deleted the app.
Don’t waste your time.

### 1/5 — Broken

*2025-03-20, version 2.5.85*

The app doesn’t work correctly. It won’t connect to my Z2 half the time, and when it does it displays garbage data. The real data is there, I can see it if I connect to a PC, just not in this app.

### 1/5 — App Issue Dec 2024

*2024-12-13, version 2.5.85*

As previous reviewer mentioned, the app will not update the data, it’s false advertising that is does have a fully functional Bluetooth interface.

Mechanically, the machine works ok if this is the only thing you are looking for.

### 1/5 — Won’t Update Data

*2024-11-21, version 2.5.85*

App will not update data unless you delete and reinstall app. I know the data is on the machine, since I can connect with the usb cable to my computer and see all data. Really hope that Breas will come up with an app that works consistently. Love using my Z2 Auto.

### 1/5 — Can’t sign in

*2024-04-04, version 2.4.65*

I have a Z1. When I tried to access my data with an older version of this app, it shut down my Z1 and gave me a message of “Fault 66.” I downloaded the newest version and created a new account and password. I am unable to sign in on either my iPhone or iPad because it either says says that no device is detected on Bluetooth, or it won’t let me enter my password to verify the device. I need this data for my next doctor’s appointment . Frustrating!!

### 1/5 — Can’t create an account in the app

*2024-02-28, version 2.4.65*

Same as the previous reviewer. Can’t even create an account it just says “something went wrong” and no way to get past it. Please fix.

### 1/5 — Dumpster fire of an app

*2024-02-24, version 2.4.65*

Can’t seem to create an account, never mind log in. I spent a great deal of money for a machine that is supposed to have a tracking app for my data. The app is completely useless.

### 1/5 — Will not sync now

*2024-02-17, version 2.4.65*

My phone recently updated the app, and now my Z2 will not sync. The unit is now locked and will not turn on. I Have to fully reset the system by unplugging it to have it work again. I don’t know what you did in this release but it’s not working.

### 1/5 — Not downloading data

*2024-02-06*

It is probably a tough task to create a more useless app than this one!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Works great!

*2025-11-06, version 2.5.85*

Use it at home too

### 4/5 — READ THE MANUAL!

*2021-06-22, version 2.2.34*

For all of you who gave this app a low rating because of the password not accepting letters, you are mistaken. Does everyone think they know everything when they first download every app? Read the manual. It tells you how to set a PIN that is needed to connect.
I just started using the app so I don’t have info to describe its use…yet…but I certainly had no trouble connecting to my device.

### 3/5 — Breas Nitelog

*2022-06-03, version 2.2.34*

I love my travel CPAP … this app is certainly an improvement over the first one, needs more updates like upload data to cloud! It seems to not recognize the data download to device sometimes, so you have to unplug the CPAP and reconnect Bluetooth! I love though and looking forward to more updates soon. Get ahead of Philips Dreamstation

### 3/5 — Help for those who can’t log in

*2022-02-25, version 2.2.34*

Ok, this app has some SERIOUS interface issues. But it does actually (seem to, so far) work once you figure out how to jump through its ridiculous hoops. When you try to connect by Bluetooth and it won’t take your password, it’s not talking about your app password (though it fails to give any indication of that). It means a 4-digit code for your CPAP—which doesn’t exist yet. To set it up: Click “Forgot Password.” Then enter a 4-digit number code of your choice. When you click “Save,” you’ll be instructed to hold down the power button on your “device.” By that they mean the power button on your CPAP, not the one on your phone.

### 2/5 — Doubles my Sleep Hours

*2024-10-19*

Very frustrating getting data. When I sync from the cloud my sleep hours double. I only use this when I travel. I am impressed when I use it but when I try to see my compliance report I have to reboot, the app, then reboot my phone. I then have to screen shot it because once I sync from cloud the numbers for my sleep hours double. Please update this app

### 2/5 — Travel CPAP app disappointing

*2024-04-08, version 2.4.65*

Very mediocre app I would say being working I. The tech industry. This app don’t connect with the device which I can manage refreshing it repeatedly to make it work. The problem is when I sync the device new data do not get uploaded. It show be the data which was older. I delete all from the app and then it load the new data but I can’t be doing this every time though not sure it works. I expect more from such a company dealing with medical equipment where data is key. The only way I could know the stat is by looking at this app. My understanding is that the device itself don't show it? Looking forward to get a newer app sooner which address this important need.

### 2/5 — Does not sync with the cloud

*2022-11-20, version 2.2.34*

IPad version of this application does not sync with the cloud data (Android version does). With this iPad application, I can sign into my cloud account (which is confirmed by the profile data), I can connect to and download data from my device, but clicking on “Sync with Cloud” returns almost immediately doing nothing. I am on Wi-Fi network.

### 2/5 — Data won’t download - pwd fix though

*2022-08-13, version 2.2.34*

I can’t get it to download any data from the device… at all.

For those looking for why the password doesn’t work… it’s because it’s numbers only. It’s a different password than your account. Just click “forgot password” enter a new 4 digit number, and follow the prompts.

### 2/5 — Can’t start because password cannot be entered

*2021-06-17, version 2.2.34*

I just purchased a Breas Z2. I’m ready to connect to the app but the app will not recognize any password I try to enter and in fact it won’t accept any keystrokes from the internal keyboard on the iPhone. It seems to pick up some messages from a vocal input on the microphone on the keyboard but they’re incorrect. So I’m dead on arrival on using the app.

### 2/5 — Missing AH Count

*2020-08-29, version 2.2.34*

In comparing Breas Nitelog® Version 2.2.34, it appears the old version of HDM Nitelog® Version 1.1.1.114 remains a better app for supplying more accurate sleep data. The old HDM version provides the AH Count, which is missing in the Breas version. Breas Nitelog® does offer a better image than the old app. However, accurate comprehensive sleep data is most important.
