### 5/5 — Scientific

*2020-03-21, version 1.2.1.1*

This is specifically to help those with insomnia and is more scientifically effective than either deep breathing or meditation.

### 5/5 — Great tool

*2019-11-16, version 1.2.1.1*

For a first timer this was very helpful. I will continue to use this app. Thanks!

### 5/5 — Just what I needed

### 5/5 — Best breathing app I’m aware of

*2019-08-20, version 1.2.1.1*

I’ve tried multiple breathing apps. This is the best.

### 4/5 — Great App...Fix The Date!

*2019-06-04, version 1.2.1.1*

Terrific, simple app that reinforces 4-7-8 breathing technique. Somehow its tracker showing the date is off, a small but annoying detail.

### 5/5 — Simple And Effective

*2019-04-03, version 1.2.0.2*

We don’t get enough oxygen. Most of us have very shallow breathing. This app helps you get in the habit of getting more oxygen in your system. Very easy to follow, and very easy to form the habit. Get it now.

### 5/5 — Simple and effective

*2019-04-01, version 1.2.0.2*

This is what I needed. Not a bloated meditation subscription app. Just a simple breathing app I actually use!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Stinks

*2020-08-31, version 1.2.1.1*

App would be much better if I could use it for two minutes without asking if I want to review. I’ve been trying to use it and I can’t do it for more than a minute without it stopping and asking me to review the app. Here’s your review.

### 2/5 — Uneven counting

*2022-12-11, version 1.2.1.1*

The counting isn’t even and it drove me but - probably a sign I need this app! It’s a slow 1, then fast 2,3 then long pause before the 4.

### 2/5 — No audio

*2019-05-31, version 1.2.1.1*

I got this app thinking it was going to have an audio countdown. But I didn’t find that to be the case!

### 3/5 — Basic

*2021-12-05, version 1.2.1.1*

Way to basic compared to other breathing apps.

### 3/5 — Problem with all

*2021-07-03, version 1.2.1.1*

I love the app but I just started having problems with it. I sent an email for help but received no response. The app just started saying Unknown Product and the unlock all features is stuck in “loading” and so is unlock “8 reminders”. I deleted the app and reinstalled but it didn’t fix the problem.

App still works but these two things are stuck on “loading” and the message Unknown Product keeps coming up. I really wish someone would respond to my inquiry about this problem!

### 3/5 — Notification

*2021-03-23, version 1.2.1.1*

I got the app and never used it yet but the app set an automatic notification for 10pm. The sound for the notification? A man. Exhaling forcefully. @ 10pm. In my bedroom in the dark. I had to get both my cat and my wife down from the ceiling fan.

### 3/5 — Good app, but needs some kind of a starting countdown

*2020-07-15, version 1.2.1.1*

It’s a good app that accomplishes the simple task of guiding you through the 4-7-8 breathing technique. Tracks history.

BUT it really needs some kind of starting count down. When you push start it jumps right in counting to 4 for the in breath. Just give it a 3 second ping or something (3 pings) as a “get ready” before it launches into the count.

This is important as you are suppose to clear the lungs to start. Maybe when you hit start it tells you to breath out to clear lungs, then says “ready”, then boom into the 4 second count. Something. Anything.

Because of this I knocked it 2 stars.

### 3/5 — Basic features are locked

*2017-02-07, version 1.0.1.8*

They locked basic features and make you pay to use them. They should unlock the features and sell ads like a normal app.

### 4/5 — Needs Time Zone Support

*2022-06-12, version 1.2.1.1*

I like the app, but find it annoying that the reminders can’t update to current time zone.

### 4/5 — I would say it’s good.

*2021-08-03, version 1.2.1.1*

It’s a good app. I wouldn’t say it’s a 5 star but still awesome.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Breathing

*2022-12-26, version 1.2.1.1*

I like the guiding voice. I feel able to do the exercise.

### 5/5 — Better than a sleeping pill!

*2022-01-06, version 1.2.1.1*

I started using this every night about five years ago when I was having a lot of trouble falling asleep. Now, along with several other nighttime rituals, the 4-7-8 Breathing is so linked with bedtime that I almost always fall asleep before the 8 cycles are over! And it is great for a dose of instant calm in the middle of a stressful day, too!

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2021-05-12, version 1.2.1.1*

Exceeded my expectations. Breathing better in minutes. Free too. Can’t get any better than that.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2021-04-30, version 1.2.1.1*

Helpful, excellent
I use this app often

### 5/5 — Slow it down

*2021-04-11, version 1.2.1.1*

Excellent app for a beginner such as myself. It’s intuitive and helped me grasp the method. Prefer the sound being off and rely on the vibration to indicate the change in breath. When the merry-go-round of life is out of control I can use my breath to slow it down. Yay!

### 5/5 — Exercise breath work according to on screen instruction

*2021-03-21, version 1.2.1.1*

Great for conditioning the right sort of breath work using the time based intervals suggested. Rather than silently counting in your head as you try to remember whether to breath through the mouth or nose you can just follow the cadence and focus on breath work.

### 5/5 — Easy to Use App

*2020-11-05, version 1.2.1.1*

Quick, easy and effective app to use for helping to control anxiety and panic attacks.

### 5/5 — Significant help

*2020-09-24, version 1.2.1.1*

4–7-8 breathing really works well for me, and this app is a help. Clean design and very easy to use. Only nice addition would be a companion Apple Watch app.

### 5/5 — 5 stars - Nice design!

*2020-07-23, version 1.2.1.1*

Well laid out and intuitive. Just started using the deep breathing technique but this app has all the features to help me learn. Will be practicing to improve. Upgraded to enable all features. Reminders, counter, tracking, night mode are all nice to help keep me on track. Enjoying using this app - excellent job to the developer!

### 5/5 — Just what i neede to get out of my head.

*2020-07-02, version 1.2.1.1*
