## What is breathe by Eden?

Life happens. Just breathe.
Twelve breaths to follow. Twelve rooms to settle into.

Follow a guided breath through moving visuals, sound and haptics. Choose First Breath, Coherence, Downshift or another practice to fit the moment.

Rooms offer another way to spend time here. Step into Golden Grove, Rain Room or Starwater, hear the room's soundscape and stay as long as you like. There is no count or breathing pattern to follow.

Eden suggests a breath from your recent practice and the time of day. Connect Apple Health to include available body readings.

With breathe+, Eden writes the reason behind a suggestion, a note alongside your body readings and a line after a session. Ask Eden opens a conversation about your practice, with your recent sessions as context. Past conversations are there to return to.

Use widgets for quick access, or follow a breath on Apple Watch. Light sync lets compatible lights follow the breathing rhythm and take on the room's colours.

Start with the free breaths and four free rooms. Unlock breathe+ for the full library of breaths, every room and soundscape, custom breaths, light sync and Eden's written guidance, including Ask Eden.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.4 — 2026-09-07

Your next reminder can now carry the reason a breath was suggested for you. If the app has recently written that line, the next reminder brings it back.

Ask Eden's replies now arrive at a steady pace, with the suggested breath appearing after the last word. The clock at the top opens past conversations again. Eden also gets each breath's rhythm from the app's own library.

Tapping a reminder no longer crashes the app. Your watch no longer taps when nothing is running.

Sound resumes after a phone call and stops when you disconnect your headphones.

Light sync responds while you move the sliders. Brightness follows the hour, easing down after dark. Your lights return to their previous settings, including when you start a breath while previewing them.

The heart tile shows your latest measured heart rate and when it was recorded.

A finished breath stays in its place in the row, with a tick to show you've done it.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-09-05

Rooms. Twelve places to sit and just breathe, nothing to follow. Four of them are free, the rest come with breathe+.

Eden AI writes for you now.

The reason a breath was suggested, the note on your body page and the line after
a session are written for the day you are actually having, from your recent
sessions, your streak and the time of day. With Health on, one word for how
recovered you seem goes in too. You can watch each line arrive as it is written.

On your body page that written line now leads. It says what your readings seem
to mean, and the measurement behind it sits underneath.

Ask Eden is open as well. Type a question, get an answer that knows your week.

Both are part of breathe+. Without it, the app still writes on your phone.

Release turns slowly on its own axis now, the way a galaxy does.

Tapping a part of the body figure lifts its readings to the top instead of
hiding everything else, and a long explanation scrolls all the way through
instead of stopping part way down.

With Light sync on, your lights change the moment you enter a room, and follow you from room to room.

Every breath on the Breath page is one card size now, and the rooms sit on the same shelf as invitations.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-08-26

Your first breath comes first.
The intro now hands straight into a one minute First Breath. Health and Notifications are asked afterwards, once you have actually breathed, and the offer comes last.

A walk around the app.
Eight short stops after that first breath. Each one scrolls the screen to a real part of the app and names it, including your own body readings.

Today and the Compass agree.
Both screens run the same engine now, so they name the same breath instead of two.

Midnight counts as night.
Morning starts at 5am everywhere in the app, so a session at half past midnight is offered a wind down breath, not a morning one.

Your 90 day rhythm chart fills in.
Days recovered from Apple Health now carry a body score, so the chart plots your history instead of today on its own.

On the wrist, the breath shape is free of the meter ring. The meter sits underneath it now, with the seconds counting inside it.

Light sync is part of breathe+.
Syncing HomeKit lights to your breath now needs a subscription. The preview on the subscription page is a real lit room that takes the colour of the breath you pick.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-08-13

Your page takes on the colour of the breath you choose, so the app looks like the thing you picked.

Heart rate reaches your phone from your Apple Watch again. If you wore your watch during a session and saw nothing, try one now.

Apple TV now reads the subscription you bought on your phone, so everything you pay for is there too.

Making your own breath is one page with a live preview. Pick the pattern, the colours and the shape, and watch it change as you go.

Twelve short soundscape samples are built in, so you can hear a place before you unlock it.
