reasons I cannot fathom, this breath would have you hold your breath for 13 to 20 seconds in between short 3-6 second) inhalation and exhalation. 

if you're training to hold your breath for deep-sea diving, perhaps that's helpful. If you're trying to modulate your heart rate and relax, it's rather insane (and unhealthy) to hold your breath for that length of time.  

Relaxation is good, but oxygen deprivation is not.  This app is counterproductive it best, dangerous at worst.

I am a big fan of breathe work. This app offers three stages for you to chose from depending on your level. It has very relaxing tones and music as you inhale and exhale. Now this app could stand to have tracking features, but for a completely free app one cannot complain too much. This app is certainly worth checking out. Ohh... & to enhance your experience you can burn some essential oils in your space and breathe in that soothing aroma while you melt away the stress.

Have used this app over many months to create calm and peace during oppressively stressful time.  It is an excellent preparation for my breathe/heart rate coherence app by another company--I reach 80%+ coherence almost immediately after completing a round of breathing with this app.  Highly recommended!

Previously I gave this app a very bad review. After more usage of this app I now realize this is a different type of breathing app that stresses BREATH RETENTION. This app is quite different from most breathing apps. I like it. God bless. Big pluses for this app are the music, and a nice large breathing patten display. Using more retention has added a whole new dimension to my breath work, a new dimension I love. I think I'm moving from I like this app to I love this app.

I've tried many, many breathing apps.  This one is superb due to its straightforward simplicity and high-quality design.  It's in my "top 3" breathing apps.  

If I could make one request, it would be for an alternate voice for breathing prompts.  The current voice (while not bad) could have a bit softer/warmer tonality.  

Outstanding app overall!
