Contraindications & general precautions for box breathing 

Contraindications for box breathing include pregnancy, cardiovascular diseases such as high blood pressure, cardiac arrhythmia, or a recent heart attack, as well as severe respiratory diseases. People with mental illnesses, especially schizophrenia or manic depression, should also avoid this breathing technique. If in doubt or concerned, always consult a doctor.

General precautions:
If you experience dizziness, shortness of breath, or other discomfort during the exercise, stop immediately and return to normal breathing.
