I live in North Port, and tried to place Downtown Wellen Park as my destination. For some unusual reason, the map cuts off just before River Road before Bob Johnson Park. I work at the North Port Fire Dept at Wellen and it’s odd I have to ride every morning to get off at Myakka area, to then wait and take an Uber just a mile down further so I can get to work every day and back. Please add Wellen Part into North Port. ### 2/5 — Unreliable & Cannot Schedule *2025-10-15, version 4.22.2* App INSISTS that you can schedule rides. There is no option. None. No option to pick a date, time, or anything. Even when you plan ahead and order your rides at a very viable time for what you need to do, they will make your ride take x3 the amount of time it needs to be by showing up late and having other riders join in on what is now a late ride for you. Genuinely hate it. I will probably continue paying x3 the price with Lyft or Uber just because of how frustrating this has been. ### 2/5 — Impossible to get a ride *2025-05-01, version 4.20.2* i have been trying to get a ride for the last 10 minutes and nothing is working you need more cars and more drivers. ### 2/5 — Bad app *2025-03-25, version 4.17.4* App has a horrible UI system, will tell you the driver is 5 minutes away but is actually 20, tells you they’re 20 minutes away and they’ve been outside the whole time. Doesn’t help when the driver can’t understand gps and just drives past you while you flag them down half the time. Even worse that you outsource the call center to another country so you can pay them pennies because the operators are too cheap and they don’t listen. Takes days to receive an email back from anybody. ### 3/5 — Glitchy app *2025-01-08, version 4.17.4* Downloaded this so my grandkids could use it when they’re end of day time at school is different and one of them needs a ride. Half the time they cannot schedule a ride. And today my grandson got a ride, but the driver didn’t speak English and he was afraid to talk to the guy worried it might upset him. I can’t travel throughout Sarasota county and the zones are tiny. I have to walk 10 miles to get to a zone where I can get picked up. Then, walk five miles to my destination from the only zone close by. This is terrible. This needs modifying. ### 1/5 — These rides are a joke *2024-05-18, version 4.16.2* Takes me 3 hours to get a ride?! at this point I’ll just pay for a Uber ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Extremely unreliable *2026-05-26, version 4.27.1* I use this app to get home from school every day and no matter if I order 30 minutes from the bus stop I will still get home late. it used to be 2$ and now it’s 6$ for my ride and for it to be unreliable even to where I have to order 30+ minutes in advance is embarrassing. Another thing is that the driver and choose to pick up another rider in the middle of my ride which then adds 10-30 minutes onto my ride. Sure it is cheap still but for 6$ I shouldn’t gave to worry about whether I’m going to be there on time or if my rider is going to pick up another ride mid drive and then add another 20 minutes onto my ride. Also another thing I’ve seen is that the map is EXTREMELY unreliable, the drivers don’t know where they’re going because of how unreliable it is and then they get blamed for it and get the backlash for it instead of the company. Overall this app is horrible, I am still going to use it to get back and forth from school because I have no other way of transportation but a lot of things do need to be changed. ### 1/5 — Glitchy system *2026-04-17, version 4.26.12* I called today and requested a five dollar refund for a ride. I did not receive your history on your app has been clearing itself. It is successfully scam me out of at least $20-$30 over the course of history because your system Made by a third-party country which is scamming us out of our money. I want to call to get my other five dollars from a canceled ride today and the history was removed and it was removed from the system which means somebody either removed it from the system or it It’s not saving properly it shouldn’t be legal to have this app and running and be funded through the government if it’s not gonna work correctly update or give me my money back ### 1/5 — Unreliable *2026-03-27, version 4.26.10* I usually thought you could trust anything that’s made by Sarasota, but this app is unbelievably unreliable. You got somewhere to be in the morning and you need to take an on demand you might as well call them and tell them you’re gonna be late because no matter how many times you try to get a ride in the morning, it will say no rides available and it’ll be like that for two or three hours and then it’ll finally give you a ride that’s 50 minutes away horrible you’re better off, taking the actual bus ### 1/5 — Frustrating *2026-03-10, version 4.26.10* Nothing works. They live on Briar Street here in Venice. *2025-09-16, version 4.22.2* 1st time using Breeze on Demand. I thought oh cool, convenient local and cheap. Had my phone stolen from the person sharing my ride or from the driver. Either way, I immediately tracked my phone. They live on the right side of Briar Street here in Venice. I checked from 380-388, but was not noticing the Latino teen male who rode with me to ask if they may have accidentally took my phone. I even put on a security message asking to return phone when I tracked it. Then I turned on the sound. The phone then got deactivated. So that tells me that my phone was taken. It had 30% battery, to deactivate it has to be manually turned off. It’s not even a good phone. My car is at the mechanic and was waiting for a phone call from them. Go steal a crummy iPhone. The driver was a Latino male n started with an A. But like Aymnon or something not common. Seatbelt was a weird like harness thing that didn’t buckle. Won’t be using or recommending Breeze to anyone in the community if it’s got sketch drivers and sketchy passengers. Going to be spending more for Lyft or Uber knowing that safety will be prioritized. ### 1/5 — HORRIBLE *2025-08-19, version 4.22.2* Driver Rafy B made explicit comments toward my 14 yr old daughter and when she refused his advances she was left standing at her pick up point. To add insult to injury he then charged her a no show fee even though he left he standing there. Tried calling customer service multiple times and was hung up on repeatedly when asking to speak with supervisor. Spoke with Angel and Ruth from customer service and they assured me they would have a supervisor call me back.
