### 2/5 — Pricey, not easy to cancel

*2026-04-10, version 5.7.0*

I gave this app two stars because there are elements that are fun, and I think it has great potential. However, I signed up for the 7 day trial and decided to cancel two days later. I don’t think the app is worth $20 per month, which makes me think, they are really just hoping people do the trial and forget to cancel. Also, the app clearly says it’s easy to cancel. It is not.

### 2/5 — Don’t waste your effort

*2026-03-08, version 5.6.0*

Never left a review before but I’m a little bit heated. Been playing for a few weeks now. I’ve gotten into the rhythm of remembering to log in and today I even forced myself to do extra fitness to gain point I needed. This damn game gave me a puppy, trapped my puppy in a life threatening situation and then trapped him behind a $500 paywall. Yes. Specifically $449 “lifetime” payment. I thoroughly enjoyed the gameplay and the style of this game. But absolutely no game is that good and a real dog costs less. What the heck? Deleted.

### 1/5 — Old version better

*2026-02-23, version 5.6.0*

I came searching for the old store game version and it was gone and replaced with this new stuff. I see why the hype died down and ppl stop playing it. Maybe if it turned back into the way it was with the option of a subscription then it would be better but the way it is now is not likable to people. Another good app gone 😞

### 3/5 — Potential but

*2026-02-01, version 5.5.1*

It’s really obvious by how much he charges plus the fact there is no month to month charge that the owner doesn’t have a firm grasp on how destitute some of his players are. The hype for the game is dying. Less players means less money.

In my opinion opening up a month to month charge would open doors, but the focus on a handful of people playing a lot compared to more people paying less is probably detrimental to the long term sustainability of the game.

I suspect he’s aware that many of his players are disabled; the discord has a chronic illness channel; but I think he probably should look at what the budget for a disabled person in various countries really looks like.

I like this game and I want it to survive, but part of surviving means keeping players. Killing the game accidentally by forcing large charges all at once isn’t the financial win he thinks he has.

Large lifetime charges stop bringing in income eventually and 6 month charges are more than my grocery budget. Month to month charges might be more cost in the long run but at least it won’t leave players starving or going into debt.

Again, I like the game. I just think somebody needs to chart the number vs decline of engagement before it goes too far. I don’t disagree with having a paywall, I disagree with how this particular paywall is structured.

You need to fund your game, Stephen, I get it. But if people stop playing because of it? There’s gotta be a middle ground.

### 1/5 — Bad

*2026-01-22, version 5.5.1*

*adjusted with new info.

This was a cute game but after a year of not playing, I found the store game was behind a subscription paywall. The free games are still works in progress and not engaging for me but most of the non-sprite art work is generative AI and you are introduced to them as you enter one of the free games. I had originally enjoyed the game a year ago because it has a vibrant community behind it. But because of the adoption of genAI in the non-sprite artwork and the only game I had enjoyed for fitness are paywall blocked, it nuked the game for me. I would personally rather see artwork done by volunteers of the community (or funny stick figures) rather than genAI images or placeholders.

### 3/5 — Fitbit problems

*2026-01-09, version 5.4.2*

The game is really fun and does make me want to burn more calories. My issue is it doesn’t want to connect to my Fitbit. I restart the app over and over but it does not seem to change the outcome, I can connect it usually once in the morning and by the night it won’t let me reconnect.

### 2/5 — Paid

*2026-01-03, version 5.4.2*

The ads made it seem like it was free and only a shop type game but it’s not and you have to pay to play 370 for this is crazy

### 1/5 — Still Stealing My Money

*2025-12-30, version 5.4.2*

Hello, even though I was emailed months ago last year that this issue was fixed it wasn’t. Breezer is still charging me 19.99 a month on my credit card. I assume they didn’t think I would check? I just want to stop having my money stolen. I tried to delete my account which I’m pretty sure doesn’t exist anymore. I don’t have this app and don’t use it. This is a scam. Don’t ever download this. They’ve taken at least $100 from me.

### 1/5 — Bad

*2025-12-23, version 5.2.2*

This was a cute game and then they put the best feature (the store game) behind a subscription paywall. The free games are buggy AI slop. I had downloaded this game months ago to play the store game through fitness. It was super cool but this new model and update just nuked the whole game for me. Good job guys

### 3/5 — Does not work automatically

*2025-09-21, version 5.1.8*

1) website says email is optional but it’s not, you need to give them your email to get an access code before they let you in the app
2) Requires manually updating your health data (the Back to Quiet game at least), I connected both my Apple Watch and Apple Health (and both are working fine) and saw no progress whatsoever in the first task over half an hour. Not to mention there’s no indication of how many calories or steps or whatever are required to complete your task, nor how many you have already done, just an opaque percentage. Progress seems to only update whenever you manually connect your health data (app, watch, whatever).
3) What makes the above even more frustrating is that support documentation is pretty much non-existent, so there’s no indication whatsoever this might happen nor any instructions on how to fix it (note the developer’s response to my previous review which says basically ‘this isn’t our problem, but there should be a solution out there somewhere’)
4) There’s no indication in the description either above or in the main menu of the game, but Back to Quiet is also paywalled after a short trial. It’s basically a visual novel and you use ‘physical effort’ to progress. There are very few choices up to the point of the paywall, but if the wild goat that you can choose to either adopt or slaughter is any indication there may be more afterwards. You can’t actually interact with either the dog or the goat though.
5)There are gimmicks within the game that seem to serve no purpose other than making you log in periodically, like the snow that would kill your crops unless you ‘tend’ them every hour, or the ‘hydration’ that gives you a 20% boost in productivity for 8 hours.
6) Going back to the opacity of the tasks in Back to Quiet, you can start as many as you like at any time, but there’s no task management at all. You can’t decide what to prioritise, and or see which would be finished first, or the progress of each task, or even what tasks you have ongoing at the moment save for the first few.
Needless to say I have uninstalled.
