It’s honestly not surprising that the app is deteriorating as it hasn’t been updated in 4 years, but the reason I’ve been using it is because it’s the only app that supports this card. I clicked on forgot user and I’m not getting an email. I clicked on forgot password not getting an email. I came back a few days later went through all the steps all over again, same thing it doesn’t recognize my username and password and it won’t send me any reset request to my email. Cannot help but be worried that my account number can now be compromised! Not attempting this again! ### 1/5 — Youch *2023-06-10, version 5.11* I downloaded this app to set a travel notice for my debit card. The app itself is confusing and seems to half-work. The automatic card scanning does not work even though it is offered, you have to type your card in after wasting so much time trying to do the quick option. Modern iOS design was disregarded as a priority, the ATM finder does not work, and now I hope I switch banks by the next out of country trip I have so I never have to use this app again. It feels like a security risk frankly, to have such a shoddy designed user experience, you can only imagine what the back end looks like. ### 1/5 — Absolutely Useless *2023-05-12, version 5.11* I was told by my bank that I could use this app to turn on/turn off my card and check balances, etc. while traveling in Europe. I downloaded it and can’t even register my card on it, it stalls out after I put in my card info and phone number. It’s completely unusable. Trash. ### 1/5 — 0 star *2022-08-30, version 5.11* I don’t write review unless it’s really bad. And this is one of them. The whole app is clunky and dated, not very user friendly at all. The fraud alerts via text does it’s job, except when you reply “yes” to clear the fraud alert, there is a delay, thus, you have to wait before you can use the card again. It signs me out constantly (the ability to user Face ID). Today I tried several times to reset my password, it keeps telling me to try again after I enter my PIN number. The app itself want to make me switch bank, except I know my small bank doesn’t have control over this. But for god shakes find a better provider. ### 1/5 — Poor functionality *2022-08-01, version 5.11* This app is — still — pretty clunky for the functions I actually *need* it for. I use my bank’s app to monitor my accounts, and all I need from *THIS* app is the ability to add upcoming travel notifications to my card. Unfortunately, that function has NEVER worked right, even after verifying I’m in the current version of the app. Specifically, after other issues in the past, now it doesn’t allow me to change the dates of travel after autopopulating the current day as start day and the next day as the end day. I’ve had the card for months and have yet been able to use it. I can’t register the card therefore can’t find locations of ATMs to use. If I log out, close the app, and log back in again, some of those balances are now visible, but others aren’t available. Fix the system! ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Love finally being able to lock my card *2025-03-09, version 5.11* My actual bank app doesn’t have the option to lock and unlock my card, and obviously in this day and age you have so many subscriptions and other things and you loose track of them, forget about them, but you still pay lol. I love being able to lock my card, brella also sends me emails whenever there’s any activity while my cards locked. Earlier I tried re-paying for my Netflix and forgot my card was off, it automatically declined and brella sent me an email. I love the alerts that I can set to help prevent fraud. The transaction alerts come through before I even have my wallet put back into my purse. I also like that I can temporarily block my card if needed and manage my travel notices.
