However, the schedule screen constantly resets back to the current time, making it difficult to browse the full days schedule. To make matters worse, many of the sessions take so long to load that sessions are easy to miss. Obviously the developers have a lot of work to do. It’s junk right now. ### 2/5 — Great Idea; Poor Execution *2022-05-20* The idea of an app for conference networking is great. However, the execution and reliability of this app is sub-par. Constantly takes forever to load, no ability to choose your own meeting location, and the iPad app is PHONE sized. Even the desktop site is super slow. I wish there was an ability to “link” with people to track who your colleagues have networked with. We are keeping an Excel sheet, but it’d be better to be able to track this in the app to avoid multiple people from the same company reaching out to us or to combine meetings. Also wish I could take notes in the app. Lots of room for improvement. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work! *2022-05-01* I’ve deleted and reinstalled several times and won’t get passed the first screen. My IOS is up to date. Worthless to me and I have a conference in 3 days. ### 1/5 — Terrible - frozen screen trying to force an update *2022-04-20, version 5.5.4* The title says it all, I’m going to an event next week and hoping to set up some meetings but when opening the app it presents a modal with half a message talking about an update. But there’s nothing you can do, the bottom half of the message is off screen but you can’t scroll and you can’t tap out of the modal to get rid of it. People don’t receive their emails. People don’t action them. We arranged all our meetings ourselves manually which was very tedious but better than this App. We wasted about £6000 for 1 year which we could have invested in something else as a start-up! Even when we left they really had no emotion towards a losing client. ### 1/5 — The event is not available for the app. *2025-10-23, version 11.24.0* After following a series of instructions where the Brella.io app is supposed to be used, turns out, as of the message received, the event is not available from said app. ### 1/5 — Forced to network *2025-06-19, version 11.20.0* I just wanted to join an event but the app forces users to fill in extra info and choose networking times. Frustrating for delegates when we can’t access content and it keeps crashing. Unacceptable for sponsors and companies paying for a pitch and looking for clients to meet with. Using the app is straightforward once you get the hang of it. The IM works well and setting or rescheduling meetings is simple. It facilitates networking a lot less daunting by allowing you to learn a little bit about the person you are about to talk to before actually meeting them and to find a time that is convenient for both parties rather than catching the other party by surprise at an inconvenient time.
