Now I have no access to my online banking. My phone is updated as much as it can be. ### 2/5 — Glitchy. One of the things I like about it is the ability to deposit checks into my account. Otherwise, not a big fan. ### 2/5 — 5 star for the bank 2 star for the app *2024-11-20* I’ve been with Bremer for a very long time. I’ve had other accounts at other banks as well. I absolutely love our local Bremmer bank‘s and feel that the services they offer are superior. However, I have never used a baking app that is so ridiculously cumbersome. Rather than being able to enter a pin to access my account, I have to enter my entire 5000 letter password every time I want to access my mobile app. It didn’t used to be this way, but this was a recent update. There are some functions that I cannot access within the app and I have to go online to do those things through the online desktop version of their banking system. There are changes that I’ve made to my settings in my mobile app, and every time every access my mobile app, the Settings have been changed back to some default mode. It’s very frustrating. worst banking app ever. Glad they have one. It’s unacceptable that I can’t reliably check my accounts from my phone ### 1/5 — Do not use this app! *2024-10-24* I recently used this upgraded app. It has a fatal flaw. I incorrectly typed an extra digit in the electronic bill pay. It was to my credit card company. A couple of days later I noticed that it was incorrect in the scheduled payment. It was $15,000 too much. I was unable to stop the payment. Even though I was $15,000 overdrawn, the electronic transfer went through. And the old app there was a checking system that would not allow you to do this. With this app it does not look at past payments to the same vendor so it’s possible to send funds, much larger or much less than you want. Also, how can I be that far overdrawn! If I would’ve hit another dead jet, I probably would be $150,000 overdrawn. That’s crazy! I suggest you do not use this app because if you make a small air, they have no checks and balances in the system. ### 2/5 — Latest update is not good *2024-10-24* I don’t like the new updates to this app at all. It no longer syncs appropriately to my YNAB budgeting app, so I had to unlink it because it was a total disaster. It doesn’t get credits or debits correct, nor the correct payees much less the appropriate place to take it from my budget. It syncs uncleared debits and then syncs them again once they clear, meaning I had to go in and delete debits every day. A mess! I now have to manually enter every transaction into YNAB when before the syncing was nearly perfect. Also, the new interface is much less readable than the old one and I can no longer prioritize which accounts I want to see first. It puts my daughter’s account (which I am on but not a user of) first and in bold, so in order to change that I have to hide her account entirely. I hope for some more updates soon! ### 1/5 — Disappointed *2024-10-23* This new updated app published 10/24, I find frustrating and cumbersome compared with the older version. I presume this new version has additional security provisions which require additional navigation procedures. 1) this new version requires Face ID for ease of access unlike the previous version 2) opting out of Face ID requires you to perform several extra steps to access your account unlike the previous version which I find frustrating. 3) additional steps are required to transfer funds from accounts and navigate the app. 4) I find the screens are not as easily read or ecstatically pleasing as the previous version. 5) All reviews prior to 10/24 when this totally revamped version was updated are irrelevant as all were made prior to 10/24. 6) Previous reviews cannot possibly reflect this newer version and yet still viewed as relevant. By the time you find the spot you’re looking for, you search and search, and even in the details, you can’t find where to move money to get into your escrow account. It looks better, but it doesn’t work better. 9 times out of 10, just to log in, it forces me to use the extra security code. But in order to do that, they send the code to my wife’s phone number, because she’s the primary on the account, then I need to get the code from her.
