## What is Brevet UY?

Brevet UY is a study companion for the Uruguayan maritime navigation license exam ("brevet de navegación"). The app helps aspiring sailors prepare for their written exam through several study modes and tools:

Flashcards — Swipe through the full official question bank with gesture-driven cards. Flip each card to reveal the answer, and progress through the deck at your own pace.

Exam Mode — Practice with multiple-choice and matching questions in a quiz format that simulates the real exam experience.

AI Explanations — Tap "Know More" on any question to get a detailed, AI-generated explanation of the concept behind the answer — not just the correct option, but the reasoning.

Weather (Meteo) — Access marine weather conditions and historical data relevant to navigation in Uruguay.

Study Materials — Browse reference material including charts, regulations, and brevet documentation directly in the app.
