## What is BrevetCard?

BrevetCard application is intended to replace paper brevet card. Instead getting a stamp on the paper, randonneur can check-in to the controlpoint based on the device location and time.

### 5.21 — 2026-08-18

BrevetCard 5.21:
• Background check-in (experimental) - Be checked in at a control without opening the app. Off by default; needs Always location permission and uses more battery.
• See what it did - An optional log in Advanced tools shows every wake-up and check-in attempt.
• Same rules as always - Background check-ins use the same range and time windows as any other check-in.

### 5.20 — 2026-08-13

BrevetCard 5.20:
• Report photos and comments - Flag anything on an event feed that does not belong there.
• Block a rider - Their photos, comments and messages stop reaching you, everywhere in the app.
• Undo any block - Settings now lists everyone you have blocked, with one-tap unblock.

BrevetCard 5.19:
• Minor fixes and improvements - Small corrections and internal housekeeping. No changes to how you use the app.

- Clearer empty screens - Registered, Browse and Results now explain when there's nothing to show, instead of appearing blank.
- Search tells you when nothing matches - No more guessing whether a search is still loading.
- Fixes and framework updates - A zero-duration display fix, plus the latest .NET MAUI for ongoing platform compatibility.

- Duplicate-photo heads-up - When you add an On the Road photo, see if similar ones were already posted from the same place and time.
- You always decide - It's only a hint; you can still post the same or a similar photo.
