User reviews

Nothing like being charged for your own storage

Their subscription for this is honestly a ripoff and a terrible business decision. Charge me for my own phone storage and then make it impossible to delete batches without an account.

Incredible

This app is incredible and easy to use, almost as easy as the easydens itself

Nice app. But paid subscription bad idea

This app and the hardware are great. But since this app is only a companion to the app, I do not like that I have to pay a subscription to get the full potential out of the hardware.

Love

Great application, but it would really help if you could easily transfer data from brew to wine Meister

Adds while using

They show adds while using the app. Wish that was on the cover of the product when I bought it. They are trying to force you to pay for features that originally came with the device. Trashy

FAQ

What does the Brew Meister app do?

The Brew Meister app collects and manages measurement results from digital density meters (EasyDens) and digital refractometers (SmartRef) by Anton Paar. It helps users monitor the fermentation process of their handcrafted beer, store results in customizable batches, and visualize/export this data.

What are the key features of Brew Meister?

Key features include collecting data from specific Anton Paar devices, monitoring fermentation, storing measurement results in batches, managing and exporting data, and providing temperature-corrected readings in various units like Density, Specific Gravity, °Plato, °Brix, and Alcohol Content.

How much does Brew Meister cost?

The app operates on a subscription model. Users can choose between monthly or annual billing plans. A free trial period is often offered, and subscriptions automatically renew unless turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the trial or current period.

What devices are compatible with Brew Meister?

Brew Meister is designed to work with the digital density meter EasyDens and the digital refractometer SmartRef, both manufactured by Anton Paar. You will require one of these devices to use the app for its intended measurement and data collection purposes.

What are common use cases for Brew Meister?

Common use cases include precisely tracking the extract content of beer during fermentation, monitoring the progress of a brew, comparing different batches, and maintaining a digital log of brewing data for quality control or future reference. It simplifies the process by providing temperature-corrected readings directly.
