## What is BrewArc?

BrewArc is a specialty-coffee brewing lab for pour-over, espresso, and immersion. Set dose and ratio, run a multi-pour timer, log the cup, and keep a bean inventory with roast dates.

BrewArc 2.3 — Bag Fade Runway

- New Fade tab: each open bag is ranked by remaining peak cups — roast rest window versus grams left at your dose.
- Past peak, peak ending, still degassing, and in-window chips. Distinct from Rest Planner, which only answers when a bag becomes ready for a method.
- Native Brew, Recipes, Beans, Fade, and More tabs. The overlay dock is gone.
- All beans, brews, and fade math stay on device. No account.

### 2.2 — 2026-08-08

Version 2.2 adds Brew Experiment Lab with control and trial analysis, confounder detection, confidence scoring, taste deltas, next-step coaching, and a local share brief

This release also refreshes the native iPhone and iPad experience, accessibility, privacy boundaries, and App Store screenshots. There are no accounts, subscriptions, advertising, tracking, or developer-operated services.

### 2.1 — 2026-07-02

BrewArc 2.1 adds Next Brew Coach:
- Journal-aware next-brew plan with one recommended variable change.
- Confidence score, anchor brew, locked variables, protocol steps, and watch list.
- New Tools hub entry for fast access.
- Unit tests for empty journal, sour cups, dry/unbalanced cups, low-body cups, balanced repeats, and same-method anchor selection.
- Refreshed screenshots, website, privacy page, support page, and metadata for the current interface.

### 2.0.1 — 2026-06-25

This update sharpens the interface: the iPad layout now uses a centered, comfortable reading width instead of stretching edge to edge. iPhone is unchanged; still fully on-device.

BrewArc 2.0 — a new Tools tab that turns recipes into a guided, measurable dial-in, still 100% offline.

• Extraction Chart: enter your refractometer reading and see the brew plotted on the SCA Brewing Control Chart, classified into a strength/extraction zone.
• 4:6 Recipe Builder: a parametric Tetsu Kasuya generator with balance and strength sliders and a live pour timeline.
• Water Recipe: exact Epsom-salt and baking-soda amounts to hit your GH/KH targets, with SCA presets.
• Altitude Temp: boiling point and recipe-temperature correction for your elevation.
• Scale Recipe by dose or servings with the ratio locked.
• Rest Planner: peak-flavor dates from a roast date, method- and roast-aware.
• Brew Stats: a journal analytics dashboard with charts and a PDF report.

All coffee math is computed on-device. No account, no network — everything stays on your device.
