There are ads after every 2 levels. ### 3/5 — New Update makes ads longer and more often *2024-09-20* I love this game… that is the only redeeming quality that makes me not want to delete it. The new update has made it to where you have to watch a 25-30 second ad, not skipable, when you first open the app. The ads in between each level is also longer and sound automatically comes on regardless of sound is on or not. They also changed the home to where you have to go through “pages” in each section to find where you left off. I understand the ads but I appreciated how this WAS one of the few games that didn’t have ads all of the time. The gameplay is the same but it honestly feels like this is just another game that will be swamped with ads. I don’t want to pay for ad free when it was fine before. Fast too many ads for a game that is nothing special than all the rest. I’m seriously starting to believe this is like Temu website where people buy a product from a manufacturer and have it branded fire themselves to resell it. I’ve read on the web that many of these games are licensed from a developer or publisher that they brands for themselves and put in the App Store to gain from having ads. Regardless if that is true or not this brick game is the same as the dozens or hundreds listed in the App Store. One very dumb problem with this one is that you have to turn off the sound every time you start the game. That setting should get saved, but it doesn’t.
