This one is a lot of fun with interesting mechanics, and I deeply appreciate how unobtrusive the ads are. The mechanics to level up balls are a little confusing, if only because the words being used don’t necessarily align with what you’d expect if you’re someone who’s also been playing RPGs since the 90s, lol. But it’s a ton of fun and the progression feels well balanced. Thanks for making this and sharing it with us! **Developer response:** Thank you for the nice review. If you mean the pop up that occurs when you lvl up every 10 levels then yes I agree, it's a bit confusing because it feels like you should be able to pick a stat but actually both are given. I have an update coming where it makes it a bit less confusing. I wish I could have put pickable stats in but as this is a bit of a hybrid casual/RPG I think it would put a lot of casual players off with the complexity plus trying to balance this game has been so difficult so far. I’ve read the developer’s description of the usage on reddit posts, and find it to be lacking. It boils down to “everyone else is doing it and they used to do the same thing with stock images. I’m gonna hand paint everything later”. So I’ll listen to that promise and play it if that ever happens. ### 1/5 — AI SLOP *2026-05-21, version V1.0.4.1 (143)* Game took ages to boot up and then the first thing you’re subjected to is AI SLOP and then they have the absolute NERVE to ask you to pay them money for said AI SLOP. Edit as a response to dev comment: dev is ignoring that the game has artificial spikes in difficulty that require a lot of grind (not skill), which is where ads and support packs help a lot. The game does not disclose the fact that it’s ai art and tries to pretend like it’s equal to a human made game. Dev also complains how much time art takes and how he is different because he is artist, but every game dev is in this position, and some decide to put effort and some resort to ai slop. He made his choice. ### 1/5 — Deceptive practices *2026-05-07, version V1.0.4.1 (143)* Game would be great if they cleaned up a lot of the bad practices. Fx selling things you cant use.. make the ball bounce directions and hit locations go opposite what they should logically then attempt to sell you a guide line. ### 1/5 — Half these reviews were written back on level 10 *2026-05-02* Asking for a review before placing obnoxious features like regenerating spikes that are real time based instead of when you actually shoot is annoying. The collision system is a mess. Some bounces are physically impossible. You can’t target two bricks at the same time when they share a corner with each other. The targeting system is ridiculous. Not sure how you manage to make the aim not function properly but it doesn’t go to the exact spot you shoot and that makes banking shots a guess. Having to make bank shots every single level makes it tedious instead of fun. Resource gathering takes weeks to get higher level upgrades on a single orb not that the upgrades even do much for overall output. There’s just no way this is a 4.9 level game. You’ve all been cautioned do with it what you will. **Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. I'm sorry you feel that way but all of this has been talked over and voted on the Discord by the players. I always talk over content and decisions and that's why the masses tend to enjoy it but I understand it's not everyone's cup of tea. It's a skill based game and many of the things you mention just take time to practice. The aim line is pixel perfect and shooting in the same place will always end in the same result as this has been tested and having this system enables you to gain muscle memory over the shots... it just takes time to master. I'm sad to see you go but I fully understand not everyone will be able to get the same joy out of this as the majority do. ### 1/5 — Changed to 2 stars because Dev is Anti-Knowledge - See update 2 *2025-11-17, version 1.0.3.0* Update 2.2: Dev has responded with people still comparing his game to Ball x Pitt, not sure where, as I’ve clicked on link he has provided and only saw 1 person. This dev seems to think comparing a game to another is a conspiracy against them. I would be careful with this dev and what they might do with your data. Update 2.1: Dev has deleted Reddit post about 1 person mentioning “Ball x Pitt” and getting upset with comments asking for proof and dev changing his own comments Update 2: I did originally give this a 2 star then cleared some things up with the dev and changed it to 5. However this Dev has made a post on Reddit claiming people are comparing this game to another game called “Ball x Pitt” and saying this one is a clone. However when asked by someone show where this is happening as it seemed like the dev was just trying to market the game, the dev responded that they didn’t need to prove this and that Their claim is true anyway. This is Anti-Knowledge/Anti-Information. If you make a claim and you refuse to prove your claim just because you say “I don’t need to prove it”, then you are the one of the problems on this issue. You can’t make claims, say they are true and say you don’t need to prove it. Otherwise everything goes downhill fast. So now my rating has changed to 2 stars. Update: I have since removed my original review and second review after the dev has responded twice. And I have since raised my review to 5 stars. I believe there was some confusion on both our parts about 1-2 aspects of the game which have now been cleared up. However regardless of those points, clearly the dev is passionate about this game and wants everyone to enjoy it. I never had any issues with the gameplay itself, maybe just the aiming needs some improvement but that’s it. My issues were with other mechanics but like I said, these have been cleared up now with a solution by the dev. Go play this game and support the dev! ### 1/5 — It’s ok *2025-10-30, version 1.0.2.8* It has some cool elements. I like the rpg aspects. Ultimately though, the levels are annoying. Every other level is just bricks surrounded by indestructible blocks with one hole to shoot into at some angle. It’s annoying and happens too often. I just got to the ice world and deleted the game. Legitimately so stupid. Fireballs don’t work on ice blocks? The only thing that does is a power up locked behind ads. And endless mode is locked behind level 80+. I believe his is on the Play Store. He was very surprised when the developer responded and in an actual human manner. Needless to say I downloaded and gave it a shot. I got into it a bit slow but slowly started to love it. Very simple but complex if you want to feel super strong. I’m writing one of my very very few reviews today because I opened the game to a pop up from the developer simply thanking me for playing and wishing me a good day. Absolute Game Development.
