It was definitely the best bridge app until ads were added. Now in the middle of every second or third game there will be a lengthy ad that often doesn’t return to the game so the player cannot finish playing or save the score scores of the previous games. The creators of this app can surely do better. There were still many irritating bugs, so I finally updated the app few weeks ago. The new version is basically unplayable: essential parts of the display such as the claim button or even parts of the bidding box disappear during play. Worse than useless. I subscribed and am paying monthly UK fees of GBP 3.99 which is a lot for an app but I thought worthwhile given the ads you get in the free version are ridiculously long and mindblowingly dull. However it now starts showing the adds while taking my money. I have cancelled my subscription and will be looking for a new bridge app. I’ve heard fun-bridge is good, let’s see if they’re better at the subscription thing ### 1/5 — Too many ads *2026-04-29* BBO has been fantastic for over 20 years, but sadly it’s going down the toilet quite fast.
