### 5/5 — Very good app

*2011-12-16*

Exactly what I wanted.

Very well designed and intuitive to use.

### 5/5 — Keith Johnson

*2011-12-11, version 1.1112*

Just down loaded, the application is excellent! Really easy to use and intuitive. I like the ability to use different scoring methods, Rubber, Duplicate etc. It is so easy to score you just put the bids in and it does all the work for you. It's difficult to see how this application could be improved, it ticks all the boxes. Well done.

### 5/5 — Great job!

*2011-11-08*

Amazing how a single purpose app can be so cool. I haven't used it in a real bridge game yet, but I "played" several simulated games and the scoring seems accurate. Also a really nice way to keep running scores. When I was in college (in the 70's...way pre-Apple!) four of us lived off campus and rotated partners and kept a year long tally to determine the individual winner. This app would have made our competition much easier!

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2011-05-08*

Very good application -- does exactly what you'd expect, does it well, and looks good.

One feature request: it would be very nice if there were a way to email a completed scoresheet.

### 4/5 — bridge user

*2011-05-05*

Excellent...Works real well and i can now concentrate on Bridge and not the scoring. paper and pen might cost more

### 5/5 — Brilliant for Contract Bridge

*2011-03-22, version 1.112*

Love this app. I used to use a paper and pencil and could never remember a) what contract we were in b) How many points above the line for 3 down doubled not vunerable and c) How to add up the score, due to the fact I am old, forgetful and often 'tired and emotional' as the night wears on!

It does it all and is very easy to use. Even my totally computer hating friends could use it, after a little training.

### 5/5 — Best Bridge Scoring App

*2011-03-02, version 1.112*

I have to say, this is by far the best bridge scoring app ever made!!! However, it would be better if it can keep a log of the bidding process, then, decide on who is the declarer & who is the dummy...

### 1/5 — Bridge Scorer

*2016-03-24, version 1.1512*

A detailed App that could be very good but does not appear to score Contracts 'made' correctly. No Trump Contracts earn 40 for first Trick, not 30 and Part Contracts should earn 50 Point Bonuses and Game Contracts 300 Points?

### 1/5 — Can't figure it out!

*2016-03-01*

I'm new to Bridge, however, I was hosting others who were experienced Bridge players. They couldn't figure out how to operate the app, either.

### 1/5 — bridge scorepad review

*2010-06-08*

Not thrilled- was a bit misled- thought it would not be JUST a scorepad, but also have games- would like to be able to return it and get my $ back- really no room on the bridge table for my i-pad- I am too used to the pencil and paper- have been playing bridge for 40 years but I love my new i-pad for other things- maybe i might buy a more expensive bridge game- but for right now I am happy with the social aspect of getting together with my friends to play.

### 3/5 — Rubber scoring excellent

*2016-07-02, version 1.1512*

Scoring for Rubber Bridge is excellent. The scoring for Chicago is faulty. It did work in accordance with the Rules but recently I saw that instead of adding a bonus for a part scroe, it simply adds the score to the line and if there is a further score, it adds this and scores a game (if enough combined points acheived). This suggests that Chicago now totals scores in accordance with Rubber bridge rules. This shows on two iPads I use and is definitely an error not previously in the programme.

### 3/5 — Chicago scoring

*2011-03-03, version 1.112*

The scoring for Chicago is at variance with normal which does not allow part scores to add up to game.

### 3/5 — Needs one more thing.....

*2010-11-06*

This app needs an option to total the score in the duplicate interface and keep track of scores for each player for those playing party bridge and using duplicate scoring. It'd be nice if it could also calculate winnings for party bridge players. What it does so far is good. I'll give it five stars when it adds these features.

### 4/5 — Nearly perfect

*2013-12-28*

Great! I just wish it also worked in landscape!

### 4/5 — Very good

*2013-12-28, version 1.1312*

Functionally very good app, that keeps score in a very accurate manner. However, would be good to add landscape mode.

### 4/5 — Love this app!

*2011-11-07*

Brilliant! Love it. I just wish it had a way to keep track of dealer. Can't throw away pen and paper yet :(

### 4/5 — Bridge score pad works as stated...

*2011-08-15*

Would be nice to be able to email results to bridge players after session from within program. Perhaps a running total in a spread sheet for individual players over period of months.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Absolutely perfect

*2025-10-27*

I am always impressed by application developers who are able to remain focused on delivering outstanding functionality. Developers who are not continually fiddling with apps to add “features” or tweak what works great to “make it better.” ScorePad, and its developer (Yannis S. Arvantis) is just such an app. It delivers straightforward functionality that has not wavered in its excellence for many years. If you are looking for a Bridge score keeping app that will replace paper and pencil and let you see your game history at the touch of a button then here it is.

If Yannis ever asks me for a modest contribution to ensure it’s continued availability then I will be the first to make that contribution.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

### 5/5 — Really good app

*2019-01-27*

It keeps score better than I do. it’s very easy to use, almost intuitive if you’ve been keeping score with paper and pencil. I was sold after the first use and haven’t gone back. It even taught me that I’d been scoring penalties (doubles and redoubled) incorrectly. And it looks just like a paper score pad so you’ll be able to read it from the start. If you score bridge, you want this app.

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2018-06-27*

We use this for Chicago scoring and it works perfectly. Fairly intuitive once you get the hang of it. You can print and mail scoresheets and it has a scorekeeper for points over multiple rubbers. Well done!

### 5/5 — Huzzah

*2017-03-25*

Played for the first time in 6 months, and sometime in that period, the feature of recording the opening lead has been added.
This has made a really good app, Fantastic!

Having damaged the nerve in my dominant hand, I find keeping track of my hands on paper impossibly painful. This app is easy to use, and I regularly get other players asking me about it, when they see me use it.
I recommend it every time!

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2016-11-05, version 1.1512*

Rubber scoring excellent indeed. Neat simple graphics, well done!

### 5/5 — It's easy and fabulous!!

*2016-10-17*

Thank you for this ... it takes the work out of keeping score. I messed with it for a few minutes and figured it out. Yahoo!!! Plus a fellow Greek developed it. Sweet.

### 5/5 — Great app, easy to use

*2015-01-04*

Love the app, very simple to use and to correct mistakes! One thing I'd like to see is more options on partial game scores. Our group uses Chicago but adds 50 for part games. Maybe add a config for using part scores on all scoring variations along with the points to be awarded in this situation.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2014-08-09*

Meets our needs in every area except: we usually rotate players on each rubber. I hate having to retype names. Would be great to have list of players and be able to tap on the names for the new scoresheets. We've used this app for 2 yrs. and love it.

### 5/5 — Wonderful

*2014-03-06*

I use this score pad for both Chicago and Rubber Bridge…love it!

### 5/5 — Great App

*2012-04-13*

I really like this app. It's thorough and well thought-out. The only change I would make is a way to set who is vulnerable. As of now, the score pad determines who is vulnerable. Otherwise, it's a winner.
