First experience quite good. Moved away for a couple of years so no usage but then moved back so thought I’d try it again. Caveat Emptor! Had a confirmed booking (email), was at the stop on time with kids in tow and no bus. Checking the app, it simply said ‘error’ - no explanation. Asking chat for help they said no bus was available (despite my confirmed booking) and there was no email nor push message to inform me and I wouldn’t have known if I didn’t ask. I get it’s public transport and not Uber but if you make a booking you should at least know the outcome. So I had to make alternative travel arrangements with the kids and we were late to meet other people. In summary: not a bad idea but not so well executed and I wouldn’t rely on it unless you have time flexibility and can pivot if Bridj cancels on you with no notice. ### 1/5 — Shockingly calous *2026-05-05, version 11.3.0* Tonight I booked the same trip as for the past year. Booking accepted. Got on but dropped off almost a km from my stop as the route changed today. No notification. Just walk the rest of the way. Disability not our problem. What a shameful way to treat someone! 6-5-26 Interesting that it is now months later and Bridj continues to drop people in the street they no longer service. The L9 just dropped someone at 8.35. The Bridj bus is very convenient for me. All staff are good and always ready to help. ### 1/5 — Good drivers but unreliable *2026-01-19, version 11.2.0* Bridj is a very good idea and can be very convenient, but this is only when it works. It is impossible now to book any bus without over an hours notice as it says all the buses are busy. However, every bus I am ever on I am the only passenger. Surely they can map out better ways to pick up multiple passengers considering they are buses and not Ubers. Also it is a very frequent problem for buses to be delayed by up to forty minutes from the time you book them making them unreliable especially when you need to get somewhere at a specific time. If your booking is not dropped off the system you can wait for up to 45 minutes from the time you booked before the bus arrives. Provided the system does not kick you off at this point, because then you are on your own. Rebooking then is rarely an option. Busses can take 15 passengers but only take one at a time, rarely two. Office staff are really helpful but not magicians. Great when it works and you have time to wait indefinitely and have an option B. Dreadful when you rely on it and particularly when the weather is challenging. ### 2/5 — Great idea, poor execution *2025-09-15, version 11.2.0* This is a great service if you’re NOT in a rush or trying to link with appointments or other services. Booked a 10.30 ride, to be told it will be 10.40, which is manageable, then when the bus was assigned to a driver, it turned into a 11.05 arrival, and while waiting at the bus stop, it has changed to 11.13, 11.17, 11.22, 11.24 and now have had to cancel. Unfortunately I’m here with my two little kids and trying to link up with the ferry and a visit to the Aquarium so more than a little frustrating. ### 1/5 — No *2025-07-15, version 11.2.0* I think overall its such a sketchy app. I had to wait once over 40 minutes because it got delayed. For people who can’t afford to wait around that long, it is DEFINITELY NOT worth it. A few times, my trip kept on getting delayed so i looked where the driver’s booking was at. Once, she had gone to the toilet and was resting and then proceeded to yell at me to justify how she wasn’t in the wrong when I wasn’t even threatening her. Another time, the driver was parked like a few meters away from the pick up point watching his phone. Anyways, don’t get it.
