However, if you take the time to setup your available hardware this app is INCREDIBLE. You can call complex bridles quickly and know that they’ll be exact. I am trying to give it a minimum hook height that it is not accepting and it's creating a new hook height on its own when I switch to the "Materials" tab. Why can't you lock the hook height? Or at least set a minimum value for the hook height? It's not like my bridle are too flat, I'm talking 90 degree angles or less. ### 4/5 — Etcp Certified Rigger *2011-10-15* Bridle is a great pocket tool to layout or checking points. With the new upgrade for stock of cables, deck chains, and baskets gives it more flex on the job site. Love the Bridle app for quick reference and easy interface, makes calling point a little more fun. Bridle tensions and loads are a quick click away. Adjustment of points are a joy with this app, it speeds up those tough points to hang (especially for those Sound Guys). I highly recommend this app for anyone who has to hang a point, a great addition to my tool bag. Riggers, Production Manager, Producer, Stagehand, Sound, or Lighting company will find the Bridle app is a very useful tool. Get accurate info from the locals and you will built accurate points every time. Even better if you use a laser from the ground to pin point the center of the beam to get the most precise measurements. Stop the whining from the upriggers, they're only making $50.00 an hour or better. They should love the mistakes, but instead they whine. Not any more, then back to the lounge and REEEEElax. Thanks Bridle. ### 5/5 — macht das was es soll *2011-03-10, version 2.0* funktioniert großartig. Hat bei mir erst einmal gehakt und war nicht davon zu überzeugen auch 3m Baskets zu nehmen. Einfach gelöscht und nochmal neu installiert. Danach spielte es wieder. Die Materialauswahl ist der Hit. ### 5/5 — A Concerned ETCP Rigger. *2010-09-28* With this update, the riggers will have one less thing to argue and fight about. Now we just get to battle whether the shackle is upside down, or whether to put the pin or the horn into the eye on a choke. Will this maybe introduce civility to a load in? I doubt it. But my points will be right on. Imagine how much beer I will win with this program! ### 5/5 — Funktioniert *2010-05-28, version 0* sehr gut ### 5/5 — TOP *2010-05-21, version 0* einfach klasse. ### 5/5 — rigging bridle program *2010-05-01* very handy for me as a advance rigger working on a construction site knowing how much strain the cross beams are taking and the down pressure on the columes and the soft ware warns you if your over loading the slings, the sling appear red colour if over loaded and if the slings are in the SWL the sling will appear green, the only let down is the soft ware is it will not give you the dia of the wire rope required, it will give you the tension in each leg in kls .So its not hard to work out if the software says you have 2 tonnes of tension in each leg use a min of 2 tonne SWL slings or greater . The only danger i see with this soft ware is that it dose not calulate what size beams you have to have in the building to with stand the side forces the slings are applying to the building and i would recommend you consult the structural engineer on the job to find out , because the weakest link in the lift will always let you down. ### 4/5 — Update *2025-10-08, version 2.0.4* Really needs an update on how it looks overall to fit the newer phones.
