Does not show comet. Prior to leaving this I read what to do. I entered my location and still the app does not track the comet. **Developer response:** The app needs your location and access to the compass in order to be working correctly. That doesn't seem to be the case for you. Go to the Setting App, Privacy, then Location Services. Check that the Comet NEOWISE app has access to you location. Last week I drove around my town trying to find a dark enough area and finally did but the weather didn’t want to cooperate and it was too cloudy. Tomorrow (7/29) is supposed to be a clear & cloudless evening so fingers crossed that I’ll spot it and I’m really hoping this app will help. 🤞🏾🤞🏾 🤞🏾 If not, I hope anyone living in the year 8820 will have better luck. UPDATE: 7/29 SUCCESS thanks to this app!! I’m so excited. ☄️ I found a pretty dark area near a private airport a few miles from me and opened the app. It worked perfectly and I could definitely see the comet. ☄️ It’s very cool. I could also make out the tail a little bit. Only thing that would make this app superb is if it had a photo taking capability. But, I was able to download an app for binoculars that took photos even tho they came out a bit blurry.
