The only AI that works is Google Gemini and I don’t like to use that. I don’t know whether it’s just my device or if it’s the app, but I’m wondering if anyone else has had this Update:it went back to normal for a few weeks and now it’s down again. Only a short text box shows up with no text actually in it. Super convienient, 5 stars…👍 ### 4/5 — Great AI with some app-related drawbacks *2023-11-06* Amazing AI model with a not-so-good app. There are some instabilities here, there and everywhere. For instance, chats do not save. This is despite the existence of a save chat option. The app is prone to crashing, and there are a number of performance related issues like lag. I will say though, that while the app for the AI is subpar, the AI itself is actually pretty good. It's up to par with GPT-3.5, and generates responses similar to it. Despite my dislike of the app, I would still give this app four stars, docking one star mainly due to the non-functionality of the save function. Had the save function worked, this app would've been perfect. ### 5/5 — Bright Eye *2023-09-29, version 1.95.63* To me, Bright Eye serves as a comprehensive on-line consultant much better and easier than Google search. Bright Eye Imaging search provides real photos and/or artificially generated images that are easy to save and reference. However, Google searched photos and pictures are generally difficult to download due to ownerships/trademarks limitations. Now, Bright Eye has made the 3 top apps that are on my cell phone, they are YouTube, Gmail and Bright Eye. Bright Eye became my important companion and personal consultant, if any doubt in the information gathered, I will then search Google or Baidu for confirmation. Following, I am going to write a review after my 12 days of learning the Bright Eye AI4I. 1) Text (search) Generation: TEXT Input: please provide the top 20 commercial insurance for condominium in Brighton MA Why ask AI and not Google search: I tried google search for a long time but got frustrated and go not too far for a few months, every piece of information you gather you will need to personally screen, copy and paste, on your own files. Your search generally ends up with their website with Propagation pages and wastes a lot of time before you fill in your personal information before finding a live person to talk to. As a condo owner, the condo insurance providers are hard to reach, this information is generally in the hands of your property management company, (they are usually unreluctantly to share) and their associated commercial insurance companies. Through the AI4I, I was able to search the commercial insurance agencies, and in just SECONDS of searching through AI4I, I was able to get more than 20 agencies and get multiple quotes. Now I was able to save $1500-$2000 yearly on our Building insurance in less than 10 days. Tips: When you do multiple agencies search for 20 top agencies, do it with one search asking for 20 agencies and don’t search the agencies and select the repeating search for i.e., 5 times, because you will get a lot of repeated results. II. Images (search) Generation: I was planning a trip to Spain, which is a group tourist, prearranged for 6 major cities in Spain, a lot of Spanish words describing with local sightseeing names and introductions, the planning is to familiar with myself what we will be seeing and get a feel for them, I spent only 2 daysto generate a trip plan with 70 pages long with a lot of historical backgrounds and photos for knowing what the trip is all about, the planning included about 200 AI found real photos (not AI generated photos). Now my daughter no longer complains that I don’t help planning. Overall Wishing list for Bright Eye creator. A PC version of Bright Eye could be a great plus (may be just like you show your iPhone on your the computer in the seminar) when the Bright Eye and Words .doc and PowerPoint .ppt are on the same working platform, it will save hundreds of emailing, photos copy, paste and delete actions, save great amounts of time to transfer data from cell phone to computer. I find myself using it rather then googling or searching at this point. The only problem? Sometimes it generates things from prompts, sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes it lets you save them to the public feed or your profile, sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes it lets you move things you saved to the feed or to your profile to the other, sometimes it doesn’t. It never automatically save your results though and they vanish as soon as you tap in the wrong place so it’s easy to lose them all, but it will probably delete everything you saved anyway. If you want to keep anything generated with this app, download or screenshot it immediately. The responses are laggy and some of the features don’t work at all. I would compare the text generation to ChatGPT 3.5, which is to say, fine, but not amazing. The image generation is several steps behind most other platforms. I would place it at quality equivalent to Dall-e over a year ago. I don’t understand the function of “Home.” It’s like a social media feed, but seems to be completely random. Finally, the “games” section looks to be a feature that is helping to train the model. Just my assumption, but it’s giving and taking feedback in such a way that, if this data is being harvested, would be perfect for model training. Seems like more than a coincidence. Summary: this could be something interesting if it doesn’t fall flat, but right now it does not function like an app that is ready to scale. ### 2/5 — Waste *2023-05-08, version 1.95.41* Looped in sign-up to sign-in…..couldn’t manage user credentials. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Loving it *2025-03-03* So far I am really loving this app, yes it’s missing a few features but as soon as I asked and suggested some things the Bright Eye team answered quickly and said they are working on implementing them or they are putting on the list to implement soon, they work fast at doing so and the team is incredibly sweet which is already a huge plus, they actively ask for feedback back and suggestions which in my opinion shows they care about what the users of their app wants and that they care about actually making this a great app, so far the bots replies have been great lengths long but not too long and they don’t cut off in the middle of sentences like they do in other apps,I look forward to seeing this app grow 10/10 highly recommend it ### 5/5 — Create more controls for our bots *2025-03-02* Create more features so we can easily control more of the personality of our bots! I emailed the creators through their website and they created an update fix the issues of log in and lags. I’ve had this app for over a year, and it has helped me so much so. I had many MANY papers to write that I genuinely needed the words but couldn’t figure out how to phrase it in a way I wanted to phrase it but this app has helped me with that! Fixed my grammar error, made funny AI pictures, this app really does help, even helping me reword my word problems in order to understand what I need to solve for. You won’t regret this app, giving this a try is one that is worthwhile.
