I docked my bike but the timer kept at it. I gave it a couple minutes and called support. Guy said he couldn’t do anything because they only dealt with the Brightline trains. He suggested I go to the website and submit a refund request for unused time and offered only an apology for leaving me to fend for myself on this. Not his fault because according to him there was nothing that could be done and nowhere he could transfer me. Ugh, I thought, I would have to call my credit card company at this hour Luckily, the clock stopped after 20+ min of extra run time. There was no indication when it would stop. What a headache. ### 1/5 — Terrible App and bike docks *2023-09-15* This has been by far the worst experience I have ever had using local city transportation. Immediately upon downloading the app and getting my first bike, I had noticed an error when undocking. I would often have to cancel and then try to use a different bike. Another issue I have with these bikes is docking them. It has happened at least twice now where I click the bike in the dock but yet it still continues to charge me. The stations these bikes are kept at need to have some serious updates for better functionality. All in all, skip the bright bikes and get yourself an electric scooter or a bike of your own. ### 5/5 — Fun trip. *2023-08-22* I’m enjoyed the experience ⭐️ ### 1/5 — HORRENDOUS *2023-06-14* The app is awfully designed. The UX/UI is not great and the app doesn’t even work. We tried on 5 different phones for an hour trying to rent a bike and the map wouldn’t load, you couldn’t unlock the bikes. Horribly built app and evidently nobody tested the final product. ### 1/5 — Unusable *2023-05-28* The map doesn’t show ### 1/5 — Horrible app *2023-05-08* Spent over 10 minutes easily between trying to get a bike/talking to customer service to no issue. At the end they told me to try a diff bike area which worked but still extremely annoying. Now I can’t delete my card info because I apparently have an active session. I returned the bike over 7 hours ago!! ### 1/5 — Horrible *2023-03-04* Was unable to dock a bike yet still charged my card STAY AWAY ! ### 1/5 — Don’t Bother *2023-02-16, version 1.0.8* Wanted to find and rent a bike. All the app did was try to make me download their train service app. Complete waste of time ### 1/5 — Won’t work. Error message. Awful app!! *2022-11-06, version 1.0.8* We tried renting 2 bikes. Created 2 accounts with the app. My husband was able to get his bike out. I just kept getting error messages and couldn’t even log back into my account. Tried changing the password to see if that would help…it didn’t. We ended up putting the first bike right back in the rack and getting charged for nothing. This could have been such an awesome experience on a beautiful day. But it just turned out to be a total waste of 45 minutes of struggling with an app and paying for nothing! WTH…awful ### 1/5 — Atrocious Service *2022-10-16, version 1.0.8* I am an avid bike rider and have ridden bike sharing services in multiple cities. This is the worst experience I have ever had on one. I downloaded the app and tried to get a bike for my friend and myself, but the app has an odd restriction of only letting you use one bike on your account at a time. This is absurd as I was perfectly willing to pay for both bikes and they would both have been in use, but nonetheless BrightBike decided to make the customer’s experience more difficult. I had already gotten my bike and the time on the rental was running and I couldn’t use it because I had to wait for my friend to get his bike. When he got to the screen to get a bike, he got an error message. He tried to get a different bike but all of them gave him the same error. He called customer service but the representative seemed to know little about how the process of getting a bike worked and offered no help. I had to return my bike but customer service refused to provide a refund over the phone and instructed that I go to their website and fill out a form.
