Brighten Your Day is a new social app experience designed to bring more uplifting news to your mobile devices (we know...this might be an uphill battle, but we think it’s worth a try). BYD allows users from around the world to curate and post articles that are uplifting, inspiring, and that would, well, brighten someone’s day! Users can upvote or downvote any post. If a post receives a poor ranking (bad downvote to upvote ratio), it will get buried. Ideally, polarizing, divisive, or just plain s****y posts will not survive long in this experience. Users are limited to only sharing URLs (sorry, but there are plenty of other places to share selfies and/or stories about how awesome you are). Also, every post and every profile is public. We want the positive side of humanity to shine through for a change, so please act like decent human beings. Hopefully, BYD can become part of your daily routine...start your morning with a smile on your face and revive your faith in humanity.
