Super annoying, will be looking for an alternative. ### 2/5 — First time using and very late *2024-09-28, version 4.12.0* Pre scheduled a taxi and it arrived 10 minutes after I booked it, first time using this app probably won’t be using again ### 3/5 — Needs tipping AFTER the journey is complete *2024-04-13, version 4.6.0* All in all it worked. However hte GPS sent the driver to the wrong pick up location - awkward in an area you don’t know. The estimated cost ended up 10% over - on an absolutely optimal journey. And most annoyingly you can’t tip the driver after your journey (some taxi apps do allow this) - I’m never going to tip automatically before the journey has even started. ### 4/5 — Good service *2022-10-08, version 4.2.0* It’s a great app, but you could do with the option of being able to tip your driver at the end of your cab ride, because what’s the point in tipping them beforehand, if you don’t know if it’s gonna be a good ride ### 3/5 — Decent App, Service Could Be Better *2022-02-08, version 2.18.0* In general, the app itself works pretty well, but have experienced several occasions where a taxi would accept my request only to drop it a few minutes later for presumably a more attractive fare. That’s does not provide a good customer experience and is not acceptable. If this continues, I will look elsewhere. ### 1/5 — No accessible taxi choices. *2020-08-23, version 1.5.0* You can now choose a pet friendly car on this app, but not one that is wheelchair accessible. This is an update on the previous app, where previously you could neither. Thank you for listening to repeated requests to make this app accessible to people with disabilities. We know you have listened, and this is your response. Very prompt, driver very helpful. Would recommend to any Brighton users. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Not great *2026-07-29, version 4.20.0* Booked a taxi for daughter at 11:50pm. The driver remained stationary for several minutes and didn’t arrive until 12:02am. He then cancelled the original booking and started a new one, meaning the journey was charged at the higher after-midnight tariff. During the trip, the driver also took a wrong turn, adding more than a mile to the journey. Despite the mistake, the meter was left running and no adjustment was offered. Charged £19 for a journey that would normally cost around £14. I’m sure others can draw their own conclusions, but I was left feeling that the fare was unfair and the overall experience was disappointing. ### 1/5 — Text to validate user isn’t working *2026-03-14, version 4.20.0* Tried and tried and each time I request a code I get no message and then app locks you out 🤬 ### 1/5 — Push notification spammer *2025-10-31, version 4.20.0* Just had a push notification from this app that was nothing other than an advert. Totally unacceptable and Apple should crack down on this sort thing! ### 1/5 — They pretend to have taxis when they don't *2025-03-08, version 4.17.0* The app had taken my booking but didn't connect me to a driver. I had to phone them. Only then did they tell me they were not taking bookings because they didn't have any cars available. What a waste of my time. Deleted. ### 1/5 — Prices not transparent *2025-01-05, version 4.14.0* I thought I would try this rather than calling for a cab or getting an Uber. Price for my journey was quoted £8 to £10. I booked and was charged £11.30. The meter on the taxi was £9.90 but obviously I had prepaid £11.30! No visibility on what this extra charge is for. Deleted the app and will never use the company again. ### 1/5 — Does not sync *2022-07-21, version 4.0.0* Given 1 star as used a few times and it doesn’t sync with the actual company. Each time I have had problems getting the car/seeing where they are etc. also the time you add for the booking is the time it’s “requested” not arrival. I get that but make it clear. Stick with Uber via an app, yes not local but it works ### 1/5 — Whats the point? Uber lite *2022-05-30, version 2.19.0* These guys used to take phone bookings for specific times, what one might call a booking. Nowadays bookings are taken but you remain at the whim of drivers who can choose to “accept” bookings, or not. So a booking is only the prospect of a booking, and as such it is not really a booking. Basically Uber but without the user control, so much worse. ### 1/5 — Don’t use this app *2022-02-25, version 2.18.0* Awful. I was charged £14 and didn’t receive a taxi. This company charges £8 on top of your fee for EVERY JOURNEY that isn’t explained before booking. I enquired about a refund and they said it’d take over a week and had 0 empathy for causing me to be financially short. Horrible service ### 1/5 — Pre-booked and didn’t turn up *2021-11-17, version 2.15.0* When we then rang to ask where our taxi was - they told us that a booking - “isn’t a booking, it’s just based on availability so nothing they can do” … Terrible. What’s the point in having an option to pre-book? ### 1/5 — Very slow. *2021-07-23, version 2.11.0* The app lets you know how long you’ll have to wait for a taxi before you book it.
