The only thing I complain about is when you finish an assignment it marks it on the app but then the day that it’s due it spams you with notifications saying that the certain assignment needs to be turned in, even though it says on the app that it’s complete. I don’t want to turn off notifications because I need them but it needs to stop spamming with notifications! The set up is very awkward and hard to navigate to. It misses a lot of the helpful and user friendly features that canvas has. Often times Brightspace has course material hidden in a link that’s hidden in a folder that’s hidden in another folder that’s under a category. Advertisements all over the learning platform pushing to get the app but it doesn’t work. It opens a browser within the app, you log in and navigate it like the website. It doesn’t save the login. No notifications. Just using chrome is better than this. Support bats you back to the institution that has the D2L instance running it’s just poor all round. The worst part about that it’s been two months since their website is not working and no one wants to fix it. They were sending messages and alerts that they gonna do some works about it from June 30th to July 1st but nothing changed. You cannot properly use an app if their website is down. Horrible.
