## Most critical reviews (5 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Never works when you need it

*2025-06-20, version 2.0.31*

This app is designed to be a digital key, it takes 20s to load and some times doesn’t load at all.

### 1/5 — App takes at least 20s to load. Imagine waiting front door just for this thing to load

*2025-05-21, version 1.2.53*

Pls fix

### 2/5 — Great idea, poor execution

*2025-05-19, version 1.2.53*

I love the concept of this app, but the execution of it is very much flawed. To go over a few of the issues

- Requires internet access to generate a code to open doors. This one doesn’t even fully make sense to me. My physical key fob doesn’t need an internet connection to generate a code, I’m not sure I understand why the app does. There’s clearly support for an offline mode, but in its current state it doesn’t seem to do anything.

- The loading times are abysmal, occasionally infinitely loading until I hard-restart the app. Rather than showing the splash screen, show the offline mode until you’ve finished an asynchronous call for the online view.

- Links to Flo and Evolute EV charging do nothing. Truly nothing because neither the Flo nor Evolute chargers allow charging. Bizarre.

- Wireless thermostat control has never worked

I’m sure there are other issues I can’t think of at the moment.

Again, I love the concept of this app, but in reality the execution isn’t great.

Looking forward to future improvements.

### 2/5 — Issue with IPhone 15 and NFC

*2024-08-22*

(App is ok - only 2 star as there is a huge flaw and they make me pick one)

There is an issue. When attempting to open the suite door, Apple Pay / wallet opens up the cards and the lock cancels. This happens over the BW app. It has to do with iPhone / iOS auto NFC detection.

This is system level and auto detect NFC - user cannot change, only current fix is to disable the wallet / Apple Pay. Which isn’t at all helpful.

I’ve done a lot of research, there is source code apple has for registered developers that prevents the wallet from auto opening if the 3rd party app is open first.

We need this otherwise the door lock / fob features of the app are useless.

Can you please look into this?

### 5/5 — Issue with IPhone 15 and NFC

This has been fixed. Thanks!!
