I have been unable to find a contact or anything. I am connecting it to our wifi but when it says it’s connecting, it doesn’t appear after it goes back to the main screen. The previous version or app was a little better, at least I was able to connect. Also, the device keeps reverting. There is no way to keep a certain level of airflow steadily constant. Usually reverting to the second lowest setting. I’m still hoping there is some sort of app fixture occurring soon, perhaps an update on these devices to stop being so glitchy. I see their social media pages being active promoting the newer briivs but who would want to get this product if there is no steady support or proof of quality? These devices are expensive for them to become almost worthless. ### 1/5 — Just doesn’t work. *2024-07-05, version 2.1.8* Flat out won’t let me sign in, let alone connect the devices. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2024-06-14* This app is almost completely useless. Almost none of the functionality works. The product itself works well but when you pay as much for something like this you expect the app to work with the product. At least with the previous app I was able to connect my briiv. This app gets stuck on the Connect Briiv to your Wifi page and doesn’t show my any wifi options. It only runs when I manually increase the speed… then turns it self off a while later. I set a schedule and it resets to the last one within a day. Can’t move forward. 🙄 ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — No longer works for original device *2026-05-24, version 2.2.18* Seems to have just stopped connecting to the Briiv original unit. It was aways annoying that you had to re register every so often but now it seems to fail even when it says a connection is made. Fortunately the unit works just fine manually ### 1/5 — Useless *2026-02-14, version 2.2.18* I managed to connect the briiv after watching a video on the support page, (the instructions on the app leave out important details) but the app is a disaster. Several times I’ve tried to set up a schedule and the app just deletes it. So that feature is useless You can basically use it as a remote control but then the unit will randomly shut off, no matter what you’ve set it at. I’m astonished at the lack of response by the company. Such a promising concept, but all of the issues kill the pleasure of having it. I honestly don’t know if the filter has made a difference because it’l become such an adversarial experience. Not at all user friendly, erases the schedule, and the bottom half of all the text is cut off. They REALLY NEED A BETTER APP DESIGNER. There’s pretty much zero point to having the app. ### 1/5 — Nice ornament but nothing better *2025-05-17, version 2.2.18* The controls on the front of the device are poor, sometimes working, mostly not. The app pretends it’s connected to your device, you set a schedule and nothing happens. You try to control the device, you think you are and guess what - nothing happens. Terrible and complete waste of money. ### 1/5 — Still Unusable *2025-03-04, version 2.2.15* With such a pricy product, I am astonished at the lack of support the respective app receives. There are times where having control of the device in an app would be wonderful… the touch buttons on the device itself are a bit rough. Sometimes you set a certain level on the device itself and it reverts at times. Can’t even find a resetting option on it. It’s a joke they’re trying to release a “newer” version of this product. I’m unsure if it is worthwhile supporting this company. 🤷🏻 ### 1/5 — The worst pairing experience *2025-01-29, version 2.2.14* I spent the last 20 minutes trying to connect my Briiv to the app. It constantly disconnects or can’t be found while you go through the setup process. If you can connect to the Briiv WiFi, you can’t view the a WiFi password you type, so good luck if you type it wrong. I haven’t gotten past this step, so who knows if the app even works. If you’re someone that is into data & analytics this comes as a great bonus. In addition to the touch screen interface on the units, you can also control them from the app. In addition, there is a feature to schedule each unit to come on at your desired times (and at a speed of your choosing) for each day of the week. Highly recommend downloading this app once you have a Briiv! ### 4/5 — Simple, but clunky. *2023-10-14, version 2.1.6* When first logging in it takes a few times for the ‘continue’ button to actually activate… When connecting the Briiv to the network it takes some time, and had to go back and try again, for the list of your local networks to appear. Once in though, seems simple enough with a handy schedule feature. Sort out the fiddly bits and it would be 5/5. ### 2/5 — Improvements Underway *2024-09-24, version 2.2.7* Update: After a month of use the app has ceased to do the most basic functions and the air quality tracking graphs are non-sensical after a recent update. This app really needs some work to make the cost of this unit justified. Original: I backed the briiv 2.0 on Kickstarter and have just received my unit at the end of Aug 2024 and set it up. I did not experience the majority of issues others have complained about. At the stage where you select your WiFi network inside the app I needed to restart once, but after that everything worked smoothly as explained in the help video on their website. While the app doesn’t currently have all the features in its initial roll out, there was a letter in my unit explaining this and indicating what work was being done.
