Andean I go into the app now, I click on my “filter name” and nothing happens. I can’t turn it on, off, nothing. You guys need to figure out how to get this to work. ### 1/5 — Rarely works *2022-12-03, version 1.5* For such a premium brand product this app is quite disappointing. As reported by others, I can register my device but for the most part, clicking on it does nothing. I have been able to set a schedule but it doesn’t appear to do anything. Sometimes the device shuts down to the extent I have to turn it off and on at the mains and to get even the physical buttons to respond. ### 1/5 — Erm… *2022-11-23, version 1.5* The app doesn’t do anything as far as I can see… the review page shows screenshots of some additional functionality but unless I’m just rubbish at finding it I don’t see anything there. ### 1/5 — Ugh *2022-11-03, version 1.5* Added multiple devices and as soon as they’re added, they’re very quickly no longer active and have to re-add and works briefly. Not exaggerating ### 1/5 — Great Filter / Lousy App *2022-10-17, version 1.5* I love the Briiv. It looks so great whether or not it works is almost beside the point. And yet, the filter works. The app does not. Took a long while to even get it to connect. After an hour plus of troubleshooting, I still can’t get the app to do anything except recognize my device. Which is a bummer. Hopefully, this is something the developers will focus on soon as I’m sure there are plenty of cheerleaders for the device, itself. The app just doesn’t live up to that. ### 1/5 — The App does not work *2022-08-19, version 1.5* The App does not work at all, I would not have bought the device had I known. ### 1/5 — Barely Beta *2022-08-09, version 1.5* This app needed a lot more development prior to launch. Basic functions like remembering your password and access your Briiv unit to change its settings do not work. In its current form, the app is useless and there is no way to control your Briiv unit remotely. I have 2 units and both have limited functionality due to the shortcomings of the app. I understand this was a crowd funded project but the units were not exactly cheap and they do not work as advertised as of the time of this review. I will update my review when the issue is resolved. Nothing has changed in over 4 months. The units don't even turn on unless you physically cycle the power. ### 1/5 — Briiv *2022-06-16, version 1.5* The product itself is great but I wouldn’t waste any time on this app. It’s simply poorly made and maddening when it should be simple and hard to not work. Would be great if it worked. I followed the steps tried to trouble shoot through email by a very nice person which was frustratingly inefficient means of communication. Please Briiv you have a great product give it a decent app I beg of you! If it’s worth doing its worth doing well. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work for me *2022-05-24, version 1.5* There is no way to send feedback or report an issue in the app so I’m doing it here. I downloaded the app, created a login, authenticated and then logged in. I proceeded to add the briiv filter I just purchased following the instructions and connected. Now in the app I can see my device has been added but clicking on it does nothing, the only active button on the screen is the logout button, I have logged out and logged in and also killed the app in attempt to fix it but to mo effect, if you could please either advise me how to sort or update the app to fix this issue ### 1/5 — App doesn’t work as advertised *2022-05-22, version 1.5* I’ve recently received my briiv and was excited to start using it only to discover that the app does nothing but register the drive to your account. There are no options to control the briiv. Looking through this it’s been 5 months since the first person reprinted this issue… surely your developer could have issued a fix by now? ### 1/5 — No longer displays filter info *2022-05-15, version 1.5* This initially worked when I got it set up. I was able to connect to my wifi and name my device. But somewhere along the way it stopped providing this info. I also had to log back in despite toggling the “Remember Me.” Once logged in it shows my device list but nothing happens when I click it. Kinda useless app right now, so hopefully it gets updated/fixed soon. I’d like to set up my other filter. ### 1/5 — If I could give 0 I would *2022-05-07* Seriously? This is the app they developed? You have to enter login details every time you open the app (even if you select remember me). ½ the time I can’t even get past the login page because it says there is an error. When I can get past the login page, another half the time I can’t actually navigate to the device, the screen is just unresponsive. The scheduling feature flat out doesn’t work. What a waste. ### 1/5 — Nice in Theory *2022-04-22, version 1.5* When I first used the app it was a little challenging to get the device to connect. I had to continually hold the button during pairing instead of being able to release the hold after a few seconds like the instructions said. I was able to set up some schedules but the machine never followed them. A few days later and I can see my device in the app but when I click on the device it does not open the following interface. Can’t use at all right now. I can login but I cannot access my air filter, see filter status, or adjust, or turn on or off. The buttons on my air filter also dont work. The remember me log in button is a needed additional and makes the process much smoother. However, the following needs to be sorted to make it less frustrating: 1. App logs you out after a very short period of time, making autofill via a password manager essential if you want to use this app regularly. A "keep me signed in" or "remember me" button needs to be added ASAP. 2. Scheduling the purifier to turn on and off is a great feature, but the day of the week toggle doesn't work for Sunday, as it turned my device on despite the schedule being disabled for that day. 3. No properly scaled iPad version is pretty poor for an app in 2022. I am constantly getting kicked out and having to log in. The device drops from WiFi constantly so I have to set it up over and over. If my phone isn’t on WiFi when the scheduled time comes the unit will not turn on automatically. Plus the unit comes on randomly outside of scheduled hours at full blast.
